Super Bowl Script Leaked πŸ‘€

Just kidding. We're just a couple days away from one of the most hyped-up Super Bowl matchups in recent memory, and obviously we had to get some crazy Thursday news about a bug going around the Chiefs' locker room. Hopefully it's nothing, but either way we've got you covered with recent updates and some of the hottest player props 🏈 (3 min read)

Two More Days

Last Friday, we hit you with an early preview for the highly-anticipated Super Bowl LVII meeting between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs, a heavyweight clash that's about as evenly matched as it gets πŸ’ͺ

  • Since the matchup has been finalized, bettors and oddsmakers alike have been split on which No. 1 seed to back, and it's easy to understand why. Just look at how the two teams stack up on paper ⬇️

546 points each is absurd - some might say destiny. After some early fluctuation last week, the betting lines stabilized with the Eagles settling in as a slight favorite. Now, with kickoff just a couple days away, the line is still razor-thin; take another look πŸ‘‡

Super Bowl LVII Betting Preview (subject to change)

  • Spread: Eagles -1.5

  • Moneyline: Eagles -122 (bet $122, win $100), Chiefs +104 (bet $100, win $104)

  • Over/Under: 50.5

While not much has shifted in regards to the odds, it wouldn't be the Super Bowl without a couple weeks full of speculation and micro-analysis. Some of the trending storylines leading up to Sunday's festivities include ⬇️

  • A bug going around the Chiefs' locker room? Several players are reportedly feeling under the weather, including DT Chris Jones. The DPOY finalist has been a force for Kansas City all year long, so here's hoping for a clean bill of health soon πŸ™

  • Breaking News: The Super Bowl is officially a must-win game, according to Eagles' head coach Nick Sirianni. Yes, that's a real question that was asked at Media Day πŸ˜‚

  • If you're officially all in on the "NFL is rigged" conspiracy, some fans are convinced we got a script leak, and they're betting accordingly ⬇️

I'm no conspiracy theorist, but I gotta admit I do like the sound of that script. With the offensive firepower suiting up on Sunday, these two teams should put on a show 😎

Player Props

Super Bowl Sunday is every sports bettors' dream, with lines available on just about anything and everything that comes to mind. But as fun as it is to bet on novelty props like the length of the national anthem or the color of the Gatorade shower, let's focus here on some of the more interesting player prop lines πŸ‘‡

πŸ“ Jalen Hurts Over 49.5 Rush Yards: -110

There's long been a stigma against rushing quarterbacks and their supposed postseason ceiling. But Jalen Hurts loves proving the skeptics wrong 😀

Hurts has been equally impressive as a passer this year, but I wouldn't be surprised if he has a big performance with his legs on Sunday

  • There's always the risk of some kneel-down shenanigans when taking a QB's rush yards, so if the thought of that makes you queasy, you can take him to find the endzone on the ground instead at +100 odds

πŸ“ Devonta Smith Anytime Touchdown Scorer: +165

Remember the last time Devonta played in a championship game? Sure, it was college, but here's a refresher in case you forgot 😳

Call it a hunch, but it feels like the second-year wideout is the type of guy who plays his best on the biggest stage

  • Betting on Smith to score is one thing, but if you're feeling even more ambitious, he's one heck of a dark-horse pick to win Super Bowl MVP (+2800) 😏

πŸ“ Travis Kelce To Score 2+ Touchdowns: +450

If you're looking for a bet with some extra juice, you can't go wrong taking a flier on a massive performance from Travis Kelce πŸ’ͺ

  • If this game turns into the shootout that many expect, Mahomes (O/U 294.5 passing yards) will be taking to the air early and often. Kansas City receivers have been a mixed bag all year, but their All-Pro TE is as reliable as they come, and the dude always shows out in the postseason

One touchdown at -125 feels like a near-lock if you prefer to play it on the safer side, and I also like his chances of leading all players in receiving yards at +230 odds πŸ€‘
