Top-10 Matchup of the Year 🏀

Just two weeks ago, Kansas and Kansas State had one of the best games of the college basketball season. K-State held serve at home in overtime, but now they'll have to face a Jayhawks team with some new life...at Allen Fieldhouse. Good luck 👀 (3 min read)

Big 12 Reminder

Yes I know, college basketball storylines can get a little stale. Not much I can do about it. Last week we talked about the top conference in the NCAAM, but after the final Big 12 vs. SEC battle this past weekend, and tonight's top-10 rematch, an updated check-in is in order 👇

  • The Big 12 won the last battle vs. the SEC this past weekend 7-3, with Big 12 home teams going 5-0

  • Unranked West Virginia took down then No. 15 Auburn, but the biggest story of the weekend was 12-9 Oklahoma absolutely routing now No. 4 Alabama, 93-69

With the most recent AP Top-25 poll dropping yesterday, the Big 12 now has six teams ranked in the top-15. While most of these squads have multiple players who will get NBA looks in the draft this coming June, take a look at the best scorers in the nation's premier conference 🏀

  • Jalen Wilson, Kansas: 21.4 PPG

  • Mike Miles Jr., TCU: 18.1 PPG

  • Keyontae Johnson, Kansas State: 18 PPG

  • Marcus Carr, Texas: 17.3 PPG

  • Keyonte George, Baylor: 17.2 PPG

  • Grant Sherfield, Oklahoma: 17 PPG

Just how deep is this conference? Projected lottery picks Grady Dick (Kansas) and Dillon Mitchell (Texas) don't even crack the top-9 in scoring, while No. 13 Iowa State only has three players scoring over 10 PPG, yet are 15-5 on the season and tied for first in the Big 12 👀. Must-Watch Rematch

It's not often that the reigning National Champion losses three games in a row, but that's life in the Big 12 this season for Kansas. Back on January 17th, the Jayhawks lost a tough one on the road in overtime at Kansas State. That one point loss was followed up by a rout at home to the hands of TCU and a road defeat at Baylor. Kansas got back in the win column this past weekend at Kentucky, but definitely have this rivalry rematch circled 💪

  • Spread: Kansas -8.5

  • Moneyline: Kansas -360 (bet $360, win $100), Kansas State +280 (bet $100, win $280)

  • Over/Under: 145.5

  • When: 8PM on ESPN+

The last time these two teams met, it was all about the stars. Jalen Wilson 38 points in 45 minutes...he didn't sub out once in an overtime game. For K-State, it's all about Keyontae Johnson, who collapsed on the court over two years ago with the Gators, and is now inching his way up to being a first round pick. It's a story that makes sports special - watch this 🙏

A top-10 battle at Allen Fieldhouse? This should easily be one of the best games of the season. Kansas rarely loses at home, and hardly ever gets swept by a conference opponent. But in his first season as HC at Kansas State, Jerome Tang has been really impressive, so don't sleep on the Wildcats 🤞

Trivia Question: There are two active NBA players who played at Kansas State - who are they?

For My Parlay Gurus

I feel like you know where I'm going with this...give me Kansas at home after falling to this team just two weeks ago. What could go wrong? I also like TCU at home vs. a West Virginia team coming off a huge win of their own. Maybe too good of a win. Take a look 👇

  • Kansas -8.5 vs. Kansas State: -102

  • TCU -2.5 vs. West Virginia: -110
