The Voice Of The Dodgers
It was a somber week in baseball, as we lost one of the greatest voices in MLB history, Vin Scully. Scully, who passed away on August 2nd at the age of 94, called Dodger games for 67 years before retiring in 2016 🎙
On Friday, the Dodgers honored Scully at their first home game since the news broke. They went on to beat the Padres 8-1 that night and swept the series — wins for Vin 💙
A full stadium saying, “It’s time for Dodger Baseball.”
Only for you, Vin. 💙

The Dodgers will pay tribute to Scully with a commemorative jersey patch for the rest of the season, and the city of Los Angeles will have something bigger to play for this year
The Dodgers are World Series favorites at +360, along with the New York Yankees 👀

Tonight's MLB Preview
The biggest splash at the trade deadline was Juan Soto to the Padres, a team that had already produced 60 wins this season. After that move, San Diego saw their World Series odds improve significantly 💪
Padres World Series odds before trading for Juan Soto: +2000
Now: +1100 👀

The Padres will be matched up against the Giants tonight, two teams that have been looking up at the Dodgers in the NL West standings all season
San Diego, who ranks in the top-15 in both RBI and On Base Percentage, is 6-4 against San Francisco this year
Soto has launched 21 home runs (T-22nd in MLB), but he's still looking for his first with his new squad 🤞
It's hard to beat the Padres at home, where they're 31-23 this season, so I'm sticking with one of baseball's most dangerous lineups 🔥
Giants vs. Padres Betting Preview (subject to change)
Spread: Padres -1.5
Moneyline: Padres -168 (bet $168, win $100), Giants +142 (bet $100, win $142)
O/U: 8 Total Runs
As for the Yankees, they've struggled since the All-Star Break, going 6-11 and losing their last five games. But don't panic just yet Yankee fans, they still have a 9.5 game lead in the AL East 🫣
To put the rest of the season into prospective:
The Toronto Blue Jays would need to finish 41-14 if the Yankees finished the season just
30-24 just to tie them for the division lead.
The AL East is over folks. That said lots of precautionary days off, getting guys healthy.— Official NY Yankee Updates (@risucci_rick)

New York, who has lost two straight series, will travel to Seattle to start another 3-game set
One player the Yankees can continue to rely on is Aaron Judge. He's launched 43 home runs, nine more than the next guy Kyle Schwarber, and has widened the AL MVP gap at -420 🏆
This series is critical for the Yankees to steer the ship back in the right direction. Despite going 1-2 vs. the Mariners this season, I think New York will figure it out tonight 🔮
Yankees vs. Mariners Betting Preview (subject to change)
Spread: Yankees -1.5
Moneyline: Yankees -122, Mariners +104
O/U: 7.5 Total Runs

For My Parlay Gurus
At this point in the season, every game is crucial for playoff positioning. With the addition of Juan Soto, it's hard not to ride with the Padres tonight as they start their series against the Giants. So, I'm taking San Diego to cover spread, and I'm pairing that with the Yankees to figure things out in Seattle. Check it out 👇
Padres -1.5 vs. Giants: +125
Yankees -1.5 vs. Mariners: +134
