The Worst Team In WNBA History?
32 games into the season, the Fever are on track to tie an inauspicious WNBA record. Can they avoid this fate by winning one of their last four games? Plus, a message from our friends at The Milk Road π (3 min read)

The Only Crypto Newsletter I Read
I have a love hate relationship with crypto. I love when it goes up, and hate when it goes down. It's been a rough year for crypto, but the one bright spot has been this free newsletter I'm reading (The Milk Road) π₯
I heard about it 3-4 times from people I respect on Twitter, before I finally subscribed... and I have to say... it's awesome π
If you like Even The Odds, you'll like The Milk Road. It's got that great mix of smart stuff & jokes, and with crypto changing so fast, it's great to just read a super quick & simple summary of the big news each day
If you wanna keep up with crypto --> highly recommend checking it out π

Unfortunate Company
To say that the Indiana Fever are struggling would be putting it mildly. They've dropped each of their last 14 games, and now sit at just 5-27 on the season. No other team has compiled less than 11 wins this year, but let's see how the Fever stack up against the very worst team in WNBA history π
The WNBA record for most losses in a season stands at 31, set by the Tulsa Shock back in 2011
With four games left in their season, the Fever will need to snap their losing streak in order to avoid tying that unfortunate mark
The Indiana Fever have not won a game since June 19th where they defeated the Chicago Sky 89-87. Theyβre currently on a 14 game losing streak sitting at (5-27). Last season they finished (6-26). #WNBA

While the WNBA season was two games shorter in 2011 (the Shock went 3-31), it's hard to deny that the Fever are fast joining the ranks of the worst teams of all-time. Ahead of tonight's matchup against the Atlanta Dream, we'll break down how Indiana's season fell apart and how they can steer clear of making history in the next few games π
Fever vs. Dream Betting Preview (subject to change)
Spread: Dream -8.5
Moneyline: Dream -430 (bet $430, win $100), Fever +320 (bet $100, win $320)
O/U: 161.5 Total Points
Trivia Question: In 2011, the Tulsa Shock had the most losses with 31. Which team had the most wins that season? (answer below)

Another Down Year
On May 13th, the Fever's young season still had hope β their record sat at an even 2-2 and they were coming off of an overtime win vs. New York. The team has completely fallen off a cliff ever since, managing only three wins in the following 25 games. Over the course of Indiana's current 14-game losing streak, only three of their losses have been single digit deficits π¬
Unfortunately for the Fever, matters are only getting worse...
Guard Kelsey Mitchell, who is leading Indiana in scoring this year with 18.4 PPG, is out for the remainder of the season due to a partial plantar fascia tear
Although Indiana would love to avoid tying Tulsa's ignominious record, the rest of this season isn't about wins anymore. It's about growth and identifying pieces to surround Mitchell and a potential incoming No. 1 pick next year. These last four games will provide plenty of opportunities for Indiana's role players πͺ
Look for No. 2 overall pick NaLyssa Smith to lead the charge in this one, as she's averaging 13.6 PPG and 8.3 RPG in her rookie season

This next matchup against Atlanta, who sit at 12-18, presents Indiana's best remaining chance at a win, so they better take advantage while they can π

For My Parlay Gurus
Call me crazy, but I think the Fever show some pride and finally secure a W to avoid the annals of history. I'm pairing that bet with the Storm defending home court against the Lynx. Take a look π
Fever +8.5 vs. Dream: -110
Storm -6.5 vs. Lynx: -106
$100 on this bet would win you $271 β if we hit, make sure you email [email protected] for a chance to win up to $100*. Many will enter, only some will win π
