๐Ÿ€ It's A Two Team Race

As we enter the last month of the WNBA season, the Las Vegas Aces have a dominant record of 23-2 and are basically wiping the floor with everyone else. The Liberty are the only other team with odds even close to the Aces', but do they have enough? Let's do a brief check-in on the season ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ (2 min read)

WNBA Check-In

As we enter the last month of the WNBA season, itโ€™s really just a three team race. And by three I mean two, and by two itโ€™s realistically one. Take a look at how dominant the defending champs have been 25 games into this season ๐Ÿ‘‡

Reigning MVP Aโ€™ja Wilson leads the Aces in scoring, rebound and blocks (21/9/3), but has plenty of help on a roster that had three All-Star Game starters and one reserve ๐Ÿ‘€

The revamped New York Liberty are the biggest threat to the Aces, and former MVP Breanna Stewart is scoring 23 PPG in her first season outside of Seattle, good for 2nd in the league behind Jewell Loyd ๐Ÿ’ช

Add in Courtney Vanderslootโ€™s league-leading 8.1 APG and Sabrina Ionescu, and the Liberty are for real. This was a few weeks ago, but still crazy ๐Ÿ—ฝ

The last team to keep an eye on is the Connecticut Sun, whose two best players, Alyssa Thomas and DeWanna Bonner, actually just got engaged ๐Ÿฅณ

Whatโ€™d they do post engagement? Drop casual triple-doubles in the same game. Talk about having a week ๐Ÿ

WNBA playoffs donโ€™t start until September, but according to Vegas thereโ€™s really only two future options. Taking anything at +3000 is a shot in the dark, but it might be more fun to root for the Sun or Dallas Wings and hope something crazy happens. Take a look ๐Ÿ’ธ

  • Las Vegas Aces: -310

  • New York Liberty: +270

  • Connecticut Sun: +3000

  • Dallas Wings: +3000

  • Washington Mystics: +8000
