Why We Like The Warriors To Complete The Sweep
Golden State will look to close out Dallas on the road for their sixth finals appearance in eight seasons. Even if they don't do it tonight, no team has ever come back from being down 3-0 š¤·āāļø (3 min read)
Tonight's parlay is Warriors ML and Stephen Curry over 27.5 pts. More info below on a chance to win $100 š

Recapping The West
As the Warriors and Mavericks face off tonight in what is obviously a must-win for Dallas, let's briefly dive into what has been a disappointing Western Conference Finals. Spoiler alert: Despite Luka's brilliance, it's been all Golden State š
The Warriors have managed to dominate the series so far by winning the rebounding game, shutting down the rest of the Mavs, outside of Luka, and getting fantastic production out of Andrew Wiggins (averaging 20.7 PPG)
Speaking of Wiggins, the refs took away what would have been one of the great playoff dunks of all time on Sunday night
Kings of the third: It's also helped that the Warriors have ripped off an explosive third quarter in every game so far, outscoring the Mavs 89-58 in that period alone
Dallas's offense sputtered out in Game 3, as the team continued to hunt the three, to little avail. Despite taking 13 more attempts from beyond the arc, Dallas only managed to hit two more threes (13-45) than Golden State (11-32) š©

Now Or Never
No team in NBA history has every come back to win a playoff series after falling into a 3-0 deficit. In fact, only three teams have managed to even up a series, with the last team being the Trail Blazers against the... Mavericks, during the 2003 Western Conference First Round š¬
Dallas will need some of their role players to return to form if they want to pull off the impossible
Reggie Bullock shot an abysmal 0-10 from three in Game 3, after shooting 37.5% on nearly 7 attempts against the Suns last round
If Bullock, or anyone else on the Mavs outside of the Luka, Dinwiddie, Brunson trio, can knock down some open looks, things might shift in Dallas' favor
I don't feel great about the Mavs being able to force a Game 5, strictly due to an inability to generate good offense. Dallas seems to be allergic to scoring in the paint and have been outscored in that area, 152-96, over the course of this series
It hasn't helped that Jason Kidd has seemed to read the writing on the wall
Still, never count out Luka Doncic, who is averaging an absurd 32.8 PPG in his playoff career
Trivia Question: Who was the last player to shoot 0-10 or worse (from deep) in a playoff game? Hint: The team that this player was on missed 27 consecutive threes, en route to a Game 7 loss in the WCF (answer below)

Closing Time (Great Song)
The last time Golden State went to the Finals, Kevin Durant was on their roster and a series of injuries to both him and Klay Thompson ended a dynasty before it could really begin. Now, three years later, and the original core of Steph, Thompson, and Draymond approaching the end of their respective peaks, the Warriors have an opportunity to extend their title window. Here are some things that have stuck out in their 2022 postseason run so far š
For someone pushing 35, Steph is dicing up the Mavericks, averaging 28 PPG on 49/48/82 shooting splits, which isn't exactly surprising considering he's a generational talent
Dominating the boards: The Warriors have killed the Mavs on the glass during the first three games of this series. Last game for example, the Dubs grabbed 47 rebounds to the Mavs' 33, with that discrepancy turning into extended possessions
Andrew Wiggins is coming alive and has fully embodied the two-way force that he was predicted to be. If he can continue making life hard on Luka, while being a legitimate offensive threat, the Warriors should pull off the sweep

For My Parlay Gurus
As I laid out earlier, I think the Warriors close out the upstart Mavs. They have the defensive personnel to limit Dallas, and too many scoring options for Jason Kidd to scheme against. Look for another Golden State third-quarter avalanche to seal the deal. Check it out š
Warriors ML @ Mavs: -104
Stephen Curry O 27.5 pts: -102
