CONCACAF Championship
The eleventh edition of the CONCACAF women's championship has already begun, serving as qualifiers for both the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup and the 2024 Summer Olympics (more details here)
The U.S. women's national team became the 12th nation to qualify for the World Cup, thanks to a 5-0 win over Jamaica last Thursday 🏆
The USWNT will also have an opportunity to qualify for the Olympics in Paris if they can win this CONCACAF Championship
Although we're more than 365 days from the Women's World Cup, this U.S. squad is the early betting favorite (+235), as they embark on a quest to defend their back-to-back titles. But before we get ahead of ourselves, let's focus on tonight, where the USWNT will take on Mexico for their final Group Stage match ⚽️

United States Vs. Mexico Preview
While the United States (2-0 in Group Stage) has already punched their ticket to the semifinal round, Mexico (0-2) is just trying to keep their World Cup hopes alive. Unfortunately, they have to do it against an opponent that they've had little success against 🇺🇸
Team USA is 39-1-1 vs. Mexico overall, winning the last 15 head-to-head meetings by a margin of 64-4
This will be the first meeting between the USA and Mexico in a competitive match since squaring off on February 7, 2020
However, the U.S. women's national team looks different this year, with a comfortable mix of veterans and fresh faces
Sophia Smith (21 y/o) and Alex Morgan (33 y/o) lead this squad with two goals each in CONCACAF Group Stage play, including this must-see strike by Smith vs. Jamaica 🍿
Trinity Rodman (20 y/o), daughter of NBA legend Dennis Rodman, became the youngest player to score for the U.S. in a World Cup or Olympic qualifier since 2008 with a goal against Jamaica
The USWNT's depth is unmatched, giving head coach Vlatko Andonovski the ability to rotate his lineup without missing a beat. Nonetheless, they'll be happy to have Megan Rapinoe back after she missed their last match to receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom 🏅United States vs. Mexico Betting Preview (subject to change)
