The Only WNBA Team With Two Top-5 Scorers
With a pair of electric scorers and one of the game's best playing some her final games, the Storm are must-watch TV right now. But, they're not the only high-level team playing tonight. WNBA Friday is here 🏃🏾♀️ (3 min read)
I love Steph Curry 💍. Tonight's parlay is Seattle Storm ML @ Sun and Chicago Sky -8.5 vs. Dream. More info below on a chance to win $100 👇

WNBA Friday
Steph Curry was already elite, but has now joined Top-5 company. Congratulations to the Golden State Warriors, it's been a pleasure. Now, in the heart of the WNBA season, we’re starting to get a clearer picture of the true championship contenders, and it’s awfully crowded at the top 😏
There are currently five teams in the league with a winning record, and each of them have title odds of +850 or less
The remaining seven teams all have championship odds of +2500 or steeper, including last year’s runner-up, the Phoenix Mercury
From a stats POV, Breanna Stewart leads the league in scoring (22.3), Courtney Vandersloot is averaging the most dimes (7.2) and Sylvia Fowles is grabbing an insane amount of RPG (10.3). Peep the complete list of leaders here
There’s still plenty of basketball left this season for teams to get hot at the right time, but smart money is banking on one of these heavyweights to be raising a trophy when the season ends 🏆
Odds to win the 2022 WNBA Finals (subject to change)
Las Vegas Aces: +120 (bet $100, win $120)
Connecticut Sun: +400
Chicago Sky: +425
Seattle Storm: +600
Washington Mystics: +850
Who Would You Rather Have On Your Squad? |
Trivia Question: The current title favorite, the Aces, relocated to Las Vegas prior to the 2018 season. Who scored the first basket in an Aces' uniform? (answer below)

Tonight’s Games To Watch
There’s a great WNBA slate on tap tonight, with three of league’s top five teams in action. With no NBA or NHL games on tap, I know you have some extra time to peep these two elite showdowns. Plus, you can bet on them 👇
Storm vs. Sun Betting Preview (subject to change)
Spread: Sun -7.5
Moneyline: Sun -385 (bet $385, win $100), Storm +290 (bet $100, win $290)
O/U: 160.5
The Seattle Storm and Connecticut Sun both have the look a true title threat this season, and if you like offense, you’ve come to the right place 😎
The Sun rank second in the league in scoring at over 88 PPG, and they’re coming off a season-high 105 points in Wednesday’s win over the Dream
Meanwhile, two of the WNBA’s most potent shot-makers suit up for the Storm, with Breanna Stewart (22.3 PPG) and Jewell Lloyd (18.8) ranking first and fourth in the league in scoring 🔥
But if the promise of buckets isn’t enough to draw you in, the Sue Bird farewell tour should be. The WNBA’s all-time leader in assists just announced she’ll be retiring at the end of the season 😢
Dream vs. Sky Betting Preview (subject to change)
Spread: Sky -8.5
Moneyline: Sky -480 (bet $480, win $100), Dream +350 (bet $100, win $350)
O/U: 155.5
In a matchup with Commissioner’s Cup implications, the reigning champs, the Chicago Sky, will host an Atlanta Dream team looking to snap out of a cold spell 🥶
After finishing with just eight wins last year, second fewest in the league, the Dream got off to a hot 7-4 start this season, before dropping each of their last three games
The balanced Chicago attack will be a tough challenge for a young Atlanta team, with five Sky players currently averaging double figures
Not included among that group is Allie Quigley, with the three-time All-Star’s 8.8 PPG registering as her lowest since 2013. If the sweet-shooting veteran gets going, Chicago’s repeat chances at +450 will look like a steal 🤑

Trivia Answer: It wasn't then-ROY and franchise star A'ja Wilson who scored the first bucket in a Las Vegas uniform, it was actually Tamera Young. If the Aces are able to capture a title this season, it would be the first in franchise history
