The Steelers Have Only Scored 20+ Pts Three Times This Season

With an O/U of 39 points, Vegas is expecting a very low scoring game in tonight's Monday Night Football matchup šŸˆ (4 minute read)

Welcome new readers! Jacoby Brissett and Colt McCoy won games yesterday šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™‚ļø. If the parlay below hits, first to hit up [email protected] gets $100 šŸ¤‘

Monday Night Football Preview

Where were you on October 14, 1991? That was the last time the Steelers lost at home on Monday Night Football. They are 27-5 in Pittsburgh since MNF began in 1970, including 19 straight wins. Only four players on the Steelers’ active roster were even alive in 1991 (QB Ben Roethlisberger, DE Cam Heyward, K Chris Boswell and CB Joe Haden) 🤯

Fast forward to tonight and we have the 4-3 Steelers taking on the 3-5 Bears. Pittsburgh has rattled off three straight wins to get themselves back in the AFC North hunt

  • Spread: Steelers -6.5

  • Moneyline: Bears +240 (bet $100, win $240), Steelers -300

  • Over/Under: 39

Trivia question: Who has the most receptions for the Steelers this season? (answer below)

Points? Doubt it

If you turn on this game expecting to see two high-powered offenses score a bunch of points, you’re in the wrong place. The Bears rank in the bottom-two with 15.4 PPG, while the Steelers aren’t much better at 18.9 PPG (7th-worst in NFL). Let’s analyze the over/under for MNF šŸ‘‡

  • Over 39 pts: -110

  • Under 39 pts: -110

Pittsburgh has only scored 20+ pts in three games this year, while Chicago has only done it four times. Despite the under being extremely low, both the Bears and Steelers’ offenses have been so atrocious that they’ve hit the under quite a bit this season

  • The under is 6-1 in the previous seven outings for the Bears, including the past three road contests

  • The under is 5-2 in seven games overall for the Steelers

Points are at a premium in this game from an offensive standpoint, and I haven’t even mentioned the Steelers’ defense. They’ve allowed just 20.3 PPG (7th-best in NFL) and 345.7 YPG (11th-best in NFL), so I really like the under in Pittsburgh

Najee Harris Prop Bet

When the Steelers’ offense is on the field, investing in Najee Harris against the Bears is the perfect call

  • Over 79.5: -115

  • Under 79.5: -115

Najee has run for over 79 yards in three straight games, plus his volume is elite with 23+ rushing attempts over that span. He’s been so effective for the Steelers, especially from Weeks 4-8, that he was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month for October (3rd Steelers player to ever receive that honor)

Najee will be going up against a Bears defense, without LB Khalil Mack (foot), that has given up the ninth-most rushing YPG this season (125.0). On top of that, with Ben Roethlisberger nursing a right shoulder injury, expect Pittsburgh’s offense to rely heavily on Najee’s legs šŸƒā€ā™‚ļø

For My Parlay Gurus

Knowing how unbeatable the Steelers have been in Pittsburgh on Monday night, it’s only right to ride with the BLACK and GOLD. Throwing down $100 on this parlay would result in a $375 payout

  • Steelers moneyline: -300

  • Bears vs Steelers under 39 pts: -110

  • Najee Harris over 79.5 rushing yards: -115

If this hits, make sure to email [email protected] for $100. First come, first serve šŸ˜‰
