🏈 The Cowboys Crush Teams At Home

The Cowboys are 5-0 at home on the season, absolutely destroying anyone who comes to AT&T Stadium. They haven't beaten anyone good, but contenders take care of business against bad teams. Seattle has been bad as of late, can Geno Smith shock the world? He's done it before 👀 (2 min read)

This Could Get Ugly

Dallas, who is undefeated at home and has won all five games by 20+ points, plays host to Seattle in tonight’s edition of TNF. While the Cowboys have yet to lose at AT&T Stadium this season, they haven’t exactly played world beaters (Commanders, Giants, Rams, Pats, Jets). Still, contenders take care of business against bad teams, and while Seattle isn’t exactly a bad team, they aren’t good either. Will Pete Carroll spoil Dallas’ streak? 🤠

Last year’s Seattle Seahawks took on the Broncos — for Russell Wilson’s debut no less — for their season opener. It feels like yesterday doesn’t it? The history between the teams made for narratives galore, and no one expected Geno Smith to put on a masterclass performance en route to a surprise W. He did, and then he hit us with one of the best sports quotes of the 2020’s so far 🗣

But that was last year. This season has been a different story, with Smith coming back down to earth after an unexpected playoff berth that ended in a Wild Card beatdown at the hands of the 49ers. Speaking of San Francisco, this might be Seattle’s best play of the season 👇

Granted, the find was nice but the catch was a bit more impressive, courtesy of Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Seattle lost that game and has now dropped three out of four. In lieu of monitoring the NFC West, which the Niners will win, why don’t we look at the most interesting TD scoring props going into tonight’s matchup 💰

  • Tony Pollard: -160

  • Zach Charbonnet: -110

  • CeeDee Lamb: -105

  • Jake Ferguson: +180

  • DK Metcalf: +220

  • Dak Prescott: +240

The DK Metcalf juice is appealing, but don’t forget he only has three TDs on the season and is up against a defense that will have Geno on the run, so rushing might be Seattle’s plan of attack. As boring as it is, CeeDee Lamb at about even money might be a good parlay juicer. Dak at +240 is interesting in theory, until you realize he only has two rushing TDs on the year. Dak has been on fire though 🔥

Before Chiefs fans get up in arms about this, yes, Mahomes with the Cowboy’s defense and CeeDee Lamb as his WR1 would be unstoppable. It’s just an interesting picture that somewhat defines Prescott’s career (minus last season) — a great regular season QB that will get you into the playoffs, where he will…come up short 😏

  • Spread: Cowboys -8.5

  • Moneyline: Cowboys -450, Seahawks +350

  • O/U: 47.5

Before Cowboys fans get mad at me, here’s a good Prescott postseason moment 👇

Trivia Question: How have the Seahawks fared against the Cowboys in their last four regular season games?

For My Parlay Gurus

Outside of the Cardinals, the Cowboys have taken care of business against the bad to middling teams and are dominant at home. I expect Dallas to cruise to an easy victory tonight, especially if Kenneth Walker can’t suit up. The spread should be manageable, and I’m throwing in CeeDee Lamb’s receiving yards prop - he’s been on an absolute tear with five TDs in his last five games. Check out my parlay 👇

  • Cowboys -8.5 vs. Seahawks: -110

  • CeeDee Lamb OVER 87.5 Receiving Yards: -113
