The Ravens Can Set A New 100-Yard Rushing Record Tonight
Baltimore has rushed for 100 yards in 43 consecutive games, as they go for number 44 tonight vs the Colts 👇 (3 minute read)
On The Brink Of History
Tonight, the Ravens have an opportunity against the Colts to break a record that has stood for 44 years. Baltimore has rushed for 100 yards in 43 consecutive games, which is tied with the Steelers (1974-77) for the longest streak in NFL history
It’s an amazing feat, but we didn’t arrive here without a little controversy. Last week, the Ravens ran one extra unnecessary play vs the Broncos to make sure they TIED the record. The entire Denver team was upset with Harbaugh’s call, but you gotta do what you gotta do 🤷‍♂️
Streak By The Numbers
43 straight games with 100+ rushing yards
Total Rushing Yards: 8,568
Average Rushing Y/G: 199.3
Baltimore has executed one of the best rushing attacks this game has ever seen, and this 100-yard streak will be a part of that narrative
Lamar Jackson’s Rushing Prop
At the heart of this historic run is none other than Lamar Jackson. The streak began with Jackson’s first NFL start on November 18, 2018. He ran for 119 yards that day in a win over the Bengals, and he hasn’t looked back since. Let’s dive into his rushing yards prop bet vs the Colts…
Over 62.5: -115 (bet $115, win $100)
Under 62.5: -118
Last year, Indianapolis kept the Ravens in check, allowing 110 total rushing yards with Jackson leading the way with 58. This year, the Colts are giving up 114.0 rushing Y/G, ranking them 15th in the NFL
Jackson has rushed for more than 62 yards in two of the Ravens’ four games this season, but only had 28 last week. The Ravens have won three straight games, so I’m taking the over here and riding with the hot hand
Latavius Murray’s Rushing Prop
To break this record, Jackson is going to need some help from his running back crew. Let’s focus on Latavius Murray, who has the most carries for the Ravens this season (44). His rushing prop against the Colts might be high, but it’s achievable…
Over 50.5: -115
Under 50.5: -115
Murray rushed for over 50 yards in last Sunday’s win against the Broncos and has emerged as Baltimore’s clear RB1. However, last week was Murray’s first game with 50+ rushing yards, as he’s averaging 38 YPG on the season. I like the Ravens to run the ball, but I’m going with the under on Murray
For My Parlay Gurus
The Ravens are going to be juiced up at M&T Bank Stadium with an NFL record on the line, especially since it’s their rival the Pittsburgh Steelers’ record. With that being said, this MNF parlay is all about the Ravens
Lamar Jackson OVER 62.5 Rushing Yards: -115
Latavius Murray UNDER 50.5 Rushing Yards: -115
Ravens -7 pts: -110
Betting $100 on this parlay would result in a $567 payout. I think I’d have to snag this legit Ray Lewis Ravens Black Legacy jersey just to show love to the OG Raven
