Tuesday, Yes, Tuesday Night Football

As unnatural as it may feel to have NFL games on a Tuesday, don’t let it detract from the intriguing storylines we have ahead of tonight’s matchups. We’re blessed with two pairs of division rivals facing off, and stakes are extremely high for all four teams in action. Here’s how the lines are shaping up👇

  • Spread: WFT (+6.5) @ Eagles

  • Moneyline: Eagles -275 (bet $275, win $100), WFT +230 (bet $100, win $230)

  • Over/Under: 42

  • Spread: Seahawks (+7) @ Rams

  • Moneyline: Rams -315 (bet $315, win $100), Seahawks +250 (bet $100, win $250)

  • Over/Under: 45.5

Trivia question: of the four teams playing tonight, which player has the most rushing yards this season? (answer below)

Resurgent Rams

The Rams have been a tricky team to get a read on this season. After a dominant start that saw them go 7-1 through eight weeks, they looked very beatable in November — so much so that they didn’t win a game that month 👀 (they went 0-3)

However, they’ve returned to form so far in December, with consecutive wins over the Jaguars and Cardinals. With the NFC West race heating up, they seem to be getting hot at exactly the right time

  • With a win over the Seahawks tonight, the Rams would pull even with the Cardinals atop the NFC West

  • Arizona holds the tiebreaker due to their divisional record, so they control their own destiny. But, AZ has tough matchups looming against the Colts and the Cowboys

If the Cardinals’ stunning loss to the Lions this week is a sign of more struggles to come, the division crown could be well within the Rams’ grasp

  • Recently, QB Matthew Stafford is playing some of his best football of the season, averaging 291 YPG over the past two victories to go along with six TDs

  • OBJ’s continued emergence is a big reason why; the wideout caught a season-high six balls in the win over the Cardinals, and he has scored in three straight games

  • Ahead of tonight’s matchup, LA is still plus money (+175) to win the NFC West

Not only do I expect the Rams to take care of business tonight, but I’m also riding with them to win the division. Now’s the time to get on board — they won’t be plus money much longer 🔨

Wild Card Watch

While the Rams have playoff positioning on their minds, the other three teams taking the field tonight are fighting to remain in the hunt. The Seahawks, Eagles, and WFT are all on the wrong side of the cut line, and with just three games to go, it’s safe to say they’re in must-win territory. Here’s each of their postseason outlooks 👇

  • Eagles: +198 (29%)

  • WFT: +230 (20%)

  • Seahawks: +2400 (2%)

Philadelphia and Washington will have a lot to say about each other’s playoff chances — after tonight’s matchup, they meet again in Week 17. A sweep by either side could leave that team in solid position to capture a Wild Card spot 🎟

  • Jalen Hurts appears on track to make his return after missing one game due to an ankle injury. But, the QB had arguably his worst performance of the season his last time out, throwing for just 129 yards and three interceptions in a 13-7 loss to the Giants

  • Washington had rattled off four straight victories before a tough 27-20 loss to the Cowboys last week. It remains to be seen who will be available for tonight’s game, with 16 players and seven coaches still on Washington’s COVID reserve list

It’s go time for both these NFC East teams, and the winner of tonight’s matchup will remain very much alive in the playoff conversation. The loser though, well they are going to need a few things to fall their way going forward 😬

For My Parlay Gurus

NFL history could be made tonight if Cooper Kupp continues his recent run of production. If the Rams’ receiver hits 90 receiving yards, he would become the first player to hit that mark in 10 consecutive games in the Super Bowl era. I’m riding Kupp and the Rams spread, as well as the Eagles at home 👇

  • Rams -7 vs. Seahawks: -110

  • Eagles -6.5 vs. Washington: -110

$100 on this parlay would win you $264, and if we hit make sure to email [email protected] for $100*. First come, first serve 😉

Trivia answer: Antonio Gibson has the most rushing yards of any player playing tonight with 836. Jalen Hurts is a close second with 695, while Darrell Henderson has 648 and Miles Sanders has 578
