QB Decisions Are Influencing The Cowboys Vs. Saints Spread
Before Taysom Hill was announced as the Saints' starting QB, the Cowboys were favored by 6 pts on the road. Now, it's down to -4.5...which squad are you trusting? š (4 minute read)
Everyone is fading this guy BookitwithTrent because he misses every bet š. Letās talk Thursday Night Football š

Thursday Night Football Preview
Neither the Saints nor the Cowboys had much to be thankful for this November ā Dallas went just 1-3 in the month, while New Orleans has dropped four straight. Both are looking to get back on track heading into their Thursday night clashš
Spread: Cowboys -4.5 @ Saints
Moneyline: Cowboys -220 (bet $220, win $100), Saints +175 (bet $100, win $175)
Over/Under: 47.5
New Orleans is 8-2-1 against the spread in their last 11 games as an underdog, but theyāll have their hands full trying to keep up with a Dallas offense returning some of their top playmakers š

Back At Full Force
Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy will miss tonight game due to COVID protocols, but field reinforcements are inbound. Thereās no question Dallas has one of the deepest arsenals of offensive talent in the league; the issue has been keeping all of their studs healthy
The complete core of Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup, and linemen Tyron Smith, Zack Martin, and Laāel Collins are yet to play a single snap together this season
Assuming Cooper makes his return from a bout with COVID (heās currently listed as questionable, but expected to play), that stat will change tonight
The return of both Cooper and Lamb will help Prescottās consistency ā he bounced back against the Raiders last Thursday, but struggled mightily the week prior in Kansas City. Heās in a great position to put up gaudy numbers tonight š¤
The Saints come into TNF ranked 22nd in the league in pass defense, giving up an average of 252 air yards per game
This year, the six opposing QBs with at least 30 passing attempts in a game against New Orleans have averaged 324 yards
Dak hasnāt thrown the ball less than 30 times since the first week of October, and his passing yard line currently sits at O/U 280.5. Feels like a hammer to me šØ

Quarterback Shakeup
Aside from a rough showing against the Bills on Thanksgiving, Saintsā QB Trevor Siemian actually didnāt play that poorly in place of the injured Jameis Winston. But, this is a results-driven league, and regardless of solid stats, Siemian has been unable to crack the win column š„
In typical fashion, head coach Sean Payton had no problem making a switch, as Taysom Hill is set to start at QB
Hillās career passing numbers are solid, as heās completed 71% of his 142 attempts for 1,103 yards, with 4 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. However, the Saints tend to run the ball when heās under center
Despite the underwhelming stats, Hill went 3-1 as a starter last season when filling in for Drew Brees
Oddsmakers seem to be in favor of the QB change ā the line opened at Dallas -6, but dropped to -4.5 following reports of Hillās availability. A big game out of the BYU product is a must if the Saints hope to keep it close, especially if star running back Alvin Kamara misses a fourth straight game due to a knee injury
Trivia question: signed as an undrafted free agent in 2017, who was the first team Taysom Hill suited up for? (answer below)

For My Parlay Gurus
Love Taysom Hill as a gadget guy, but canāt say I see him as solid starting QB. With a full slate of playmakers at Dakās disposal, I expect the Boys to run away with this one in this two-leg parlayš
Dak Prescott over 280.5 passing yards: -115
Cowboys -4.5: -110

Trivia answer: Hill first played for the Green Bay Packers, appearing in just three preseason games before being cut. He was claimed off waivers by the Saints the following day
