No Nights Off In The Big Ten 🏀
With college football season officially in the books, we can turn our full attention to the basketball court, and we've got quite the slate of games tonight. MSU @ Wisco, sign me up 🍿 (4 min read)

Big Ten Battle In Wisco
The Big Ten was notably absent from last night's national championship festivities, as a pair of heartbreaking losses in the semifinals had both Michigan and Ohio State watching from home. They missed out on a dominant Georgia performance that saw the Bulldogs throttle TCU en route to their second straight title 🏆

But with attention turning to the hardwood now that football season has officially wrapped up, the conference that regularly boasts some of the nation's top teams is once again in the spotlight 🤩
While the Big Ten's presence in the latest edition of the AP Top-25 isn't as prominent as it usually is with just Purdue and Wisco ranked, conference play remains as cutthroat as ever. Just ask the Boilermakers, whose reign as the country's top-ranked team ended following last week's loss at Rutgers 🚨
CAM SPENCER!!! COLD BLOODED!! Rutgers takes the lead over #1 Purdue on a 3 with 13.3 seconds left on the game. They lead 65-64 with 10.0 left

Just one Big Ten team has a losing record, and I know its early, but the most recent Bracketology has the conference leading the way with eight teams projected to reach the Big Dance 📈
The Big Ten is cannibalizing itself.

#18 Wisconsin was yet another victim over the weekend, with Illinois handing the Badgers their first conference loss of the season. They could be in for another dogfight tonight when the Michigan State Spartans come to town for the evening's must-watch matchup — here's how the lines are shaping up 👇
Michigan State vs. #18 Wisconsin Betting Preview (subject to change)
Spread: Wisconsin -0.5
Moneyline: Wisconsin -110 (bet $110, win $100), MSU -110
O/U: 125.5
When: 7PM on ESPN
A big reason for the Badgers' 10-point loss on Saturday? The absence of leading scorer and second-leading rebounder Tyler Wahl. His availability is once again in question tonight, which explains the razor-thin line 😳
Assuming the preseason All-Big Ten selection is unable to suit up, the Badgers will need sophomore guard Chucky Hepburn to stay hot. He's averaging 16.4 PPG over the last three, with nine makes from deep over that span
Speaking of staying hot, the Spartans are just that, with six straight wins under their belt. They've allowed 60+ points just once over that stretch
You already know the Badgers will be bringing the defensive intensity as well, especially on their home floor. Expect just about every basket tonight to be hard-earned 😤
Trivia Question: Who led the Big Ten in scoring last season?

Other Games To Watch
Tuesday nights are often chock full of high-level college basketball action all around the country, and tonight is no different. The Big 12 and the ACC have some marquee matchups worth checking out as well 👇
Spread: Iowa State -6.5
Moneyline: Iowa State -275, Texas Tech +220
O/U: 128.5
When: 8PM
It's a big night for the Big 12, with #2 Kansas and #11 Kansas State both facing tough tests on their home courts. But in my opinion, tonight's most intriguing conference game is the showdown between the Red Raiders and the surging Cyclones
Unranked to start the year and picked to finish just eighth in the conference, Iowa State leaped from #25 up to #14 in the latest poll, thanks in large part to last weekend's wild win at TCU 😳

Texas Tech is trending in the opposite direction with three straight defeats, but they gave tough fights to a pair of ranked opponents. Unfortunately for them, their brutal stretch of schedule doesn't get any easier tonight 🤷🏻♂️
Spread: UVA -4.5
Moneyline: UVA -182, UNC +150
O/U: 135.5
9PM on ESPN
The Tar Heels' current record (11-5) may not reflect their preseason expectations, but I'm still convinced their upside is as high as any team in college basketball. Can they show it tonight against the ACC's top-ranked team?
As has often been the case in the Tony Bennett era, the Cavaliers once again check in as one of the nation's most stifling defenses, but three tough losses over their last six games has raised some concerns over the team's offensive ceiling
Tony Bennett is officially the winningest coach in UVA men's basketball history.

UVA has given up 70 points just once this season, but UNC has notched 80+ in five out of their last six. It's a true clash of styles, and the outcome could have a big impact on the ACC title race 🏆

For My Parlay Gurus
Madison is one of the toughest road environments in college basketball, but Wisco is 0-2 in the two games Tyler Wahl has missed over the last two seasons. I'm taking the Spartans to win on the road, and I'm also going with an Iowa State team that continues to prove they're legit. Check out this parlay 👇
Michigan State ML @ #18 Wisconsin: -110
#14 Iowa State -6.5 vs. Texas Tech: -110
