Who’s Playing Who?
We may still be nearly four months away from the first meaningful snap of the year, but let’s face it — you’re already daydreaming about the NFL season. If the draft a couple weeks back wasn’t enough to satisfy your appetite, fear not; tonight, we’ll officially have a full schedule to over-analyze all summer long 😏
The Kansas City Chiefs, still basking in the glory of the second Super Bowl title of the Mahomes era, are waiting to see who they’ll host when they kick off their repeat bid at Arrowhead on September 7th. If you’re a believer in leaks circulating on Twitter, they could be headed for a date with the Detroit Lions 👀
There are already a few intriguing matchups set in stone ahead of the full release, including some can’t-miss holiday showdowns and a loaded international slate that features not just one, but two Jaguars’ games in London 😳
Jaguars will become the first NFL team to play back-to-back games in London, playing the Falcons at Wembley Stadium in Week 4, then the Bills at Tottenham Hotspur in Week 5.

An eventful NFL draft is officially in the books, most of the big-name free agents are now under contract (with a few notable exceptions) and 272 regular season matchups are about to be locked in. The schedule release is set to get underway tonight at 8PM on the NFL Network, and I can’t wait 😎
Trivia Question: Who played in the first ever NFL game in London?

Win Totals To Watch
We’ll dive more in-depth into each NFL division as preseason action gets underway, but if you’re itching to get some futures in before the schedule drops, allow me to point you in the direction of some interesting win totals worth checking out 👇
📍 Jacksonville Jaguars: Over/Under 9.5 Wins
One reason I’m optimistic the London Jags will rack up their fair share of wins this season? The division they play in 🤢
Between the Colts, Texans, and perhaps even the Titans, the AFC South should see its fair share of rookies under center in 2023, which typically doesn’t bode well for instant success
But while six games against those teams should help the record in a major way, this Jacksonville team is legit even outside of a soft schedule. They were one of the hottest teams in the league down the stretch last year, and an exciting young offense should get another huge boost with Calvin Ridley returning from suspension 📈
Additionally, their third-year QB, who has already flashed superstar potential, might have an extra chip on his shoulder due to some offseason disrespect 😤

📍 Philadelphia Eagles Over/Under 10.5 Wins
Friendly reminder that the Eagles went 14-1 last regular season with Jalen Hurts as their starting QB, then nearly won the Super Bowl 🤷🏻♂️
Sure, it’s fair to expect some kind of regression from last year’s excellence, and an NFC East that had all four teams in playoff contention all season long remains just as tough this time around
But 11 wins still feels like an absolute bargain. This year’s draft class was universally lauded, Hurts is already an MVP candidate and should only get better, and he’s got a ridiculous array of weapons at his disposal, including one of the league’s best WR duos and two explosive new weapons at running back ⬇️
#Panthers signed former #Eagles RB Miles Sanders to a 4-year, $25M contract in free-agency. He got $13M guaranteed.
The Eagles replacements of D’Andre Swift and Rashaad Penny will combine to make less than $3M this year.
Philly is paying $10M less than if they re-signed Sanders

📍 Detroit Lions: Over/Under 9.5 Wins
The Aaron Rodgers era in Green Bay is officially over, and I’m sure the rest of the NFC North let out a big sigh of relief after having to deal with that guy for 15 seasons 🙌
For the first time since 2005, the Packers have the worst odds to win their division. 😳

For the first time since 2005, the Packers now have the worst odds to win a division that looks completely wide open. Could it finally be the Lions’ year?
Detroit has never won the North, but they’re currently the favorite (+140), and there’s good reason to buy into the hype. Just like the Jags, the Lions ended the season red-hot, and although they weren’t able to sneak into the playoffs, I like their chances of getting over the hump this year
If Amon-Ra St. Brown can continue his superstar ascension, 12th overall pick Jahmyr Gibbs can acclimate quickly, and electric sophomore receiver Jameson Williams isn’t derailed by his suspension, this offense could be one of the NFL’s best 🚀

For My Parlay Gurus
Obviously there’s no NFL action for us to parlay anytime soon, so in the meantime I’ll hold you over with some NBA Playoff picks. Believe it or not, I’m going with both road teams; I think the Celtics keep their season alive while the Suns are knocked out by the Nuggets. Check it out 👇
