šŸ€ NBA Playoff Update

We are coming in on the last few days of the NBA season, and the top of the West and middle of the East are as tight as possible. Two huge games tonight in Philly and Cleveland, plus the Knicks just destroyed the Celtics to move up to the three seed. This should get interesting šŸ¤” (2 min read)

NBA Playoff Update

The NBA playoff field is officially set, in that we know which 20 teams will still be playing after the regular season wraps up this weekend. But as far as seeding goes? Even with just a couple games left on each teamā€™s schedule, thereā€™s still plenty that remains unsettled šŸ˜ˆ

  • The West has been an absolute gauntlet all season long, and thereā€™s a team well above .500 thatā€™s facing a 10th place finish. What team that is remains to be seen; thereā€™s plenty of moving pieces all up and down the standings, including a fight for the top seed šŸ‘€

A full slate of NBA action tonight should help clear things up a bit, but letā€™s actually turn our attention over to the Eastern Conference, where the 3-6 seeds are all separated by just 1.5 games šŸ‘‡

Barring a Bucksā€™ collapse (Giannis is hurt) or a Sixersā€™ surge (Embiid is back), it looks more than likely these four teams will face each other in some capacity in the first round, where home court advantage can make all the difference. And surely none of them want any part of the conference-leading Celtics in the second round, making that third seed all the more coveted šŸ¤”

  • The Knicks currently sit in the driverā€™s seat there, and after beating Boston last night in their home finale, theyā€™ll close their season with a pair of very winnable road games against the Nets and Bulls

The upstart Magic actually picked up some hype as a possible 2-seed last week, but back-to-back losses to the Rockets and Bucks has them tumbling a bitā€¦their range of possible outcomes is all over the place šŸ˜³

Then thereā€™s the Cavs and the Pacers, and saving them for last isnā€™t meant to be any disrespect to the Midwest. These two just so happen to be playing each other tonight, in what could be the most important game of the evening. Check out how the odds are shaping up šŸ‘‡

  • Spread: Cavaliers -3

  • Moneyline: Cavaliers -154, Pacers +130

  • Over/Under: 234

Weā€™re Knicks fans over here, so just wanted to drop this note from Kenny Smith. Brunson is really that guy šŸŽ

Trivia Question: Where does Brunson rank in league scoring this season?

For My Parlay Gurus

Huge night of NBA games, this should be an interesting slate with almost every team playing. The important games are Pacers vs Cavs and Magic vs Sixers, and I think I like both home teams. Philly has won six straight games, while the Cavs are finally healthy. Take a look šŸ‘‡

  • Sixers -6.5 vs Magic: -110

  • Cavs -3 vs Pacers: -112
