Nuggets Are Huge Title Favorites 💰

The Miami Heat

The Miami Heat are going to the NBA Finals after a wild series vs. the Celtics. Before last night, only three teams had ever forced a Game 7 when down 3-0 in a playoff series. Boston was the first team to host that final game, and only scored 84 points on 9/42 from three. Jimmy Butler called it last year 😮‍💨

Tatum was obviously hurt after rolling his ankle on the first play of the game, but Butler looked pretty banged up too. At the end of the day, other guys on the Heat stepped up, and outside of Derrick White, Tatum had no help. Shoutout to Caleb Martin, who basically outplayed Jaylen Brown the entire series 👏

Miami has a quick turn around, with Game 1 of the NBA Finals tipping off in Denver this Thursday night. Factor in the ten days of rest, a much deeper team and the Colorado altitude, and the Nuggets are obviously heavy favorites to bring home their first NBA title in franchise history. Peep the lines 👇

Odds To Win The NBA Finals (subject to change)

  • Nuggets: -480

  • Heat: +330

  • Most Likely Outcome: Nuggets Win 4-1 (+210)

As a New York sports fan, I’m more than okay with last night’s result. Boston teams are always annoyingly good, and there’s nothing better than seeing them fall apart in the playoffs…especially in front of a home crowd 💩

In a postseason that has seen the Bucks fire Mike Budenholzer and the Suns move on from Monty Williams, it’s pretty clear that Erik Spoelstra is the best coach in the NBA. Whether is rotation adjustments, defensive schemes or next man up culture, Miami is one of the few teams that actually look like they are being coached every night. Spo has one of the more impressive resumes in coaching history 👇

More to come on the Nuggets later in the week, until then let me know who you got 🏀
