Most Underrated Player In The NBA ⛈
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is in line for his first career All-Star selection, and at 24 years old is currently the third leading scorer in the league at 31 PPG. Tonight, he takes on Damian Lillard in what should be a great PG matchup 🍿 (3 min read)

Elite Scoring Matchup
We live in a world of who can score and who can't, and of the NBA's per game isolation scoring leaders, four of this season's top five names are guys who have lived atop that leaderboard for years. However, one name on that list might surprise you 👀
Luka Doncic: 9.3 PPG
James Harden: 7.9 PPG
Joel Embiid: 7.4 PPG
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: 6.4 PGG
Damian Lillard: 6.0 PGG
Through 31 games, SGA has crept into the NBA's inner-circle of unstoppable bucket-getters, ranking just a single spot ahead of his matchup tonight, Damian Lillard (who he just took down on Monday) 👇

SUPERSTAR

Despite his team doing its best job to stay in the mix for Victor Wembenyama, SGA and company have been considerably better than they were last year ⛈
At 13-18, the Thunder have won 41.9% of their games this season, up from 29.3% last year
SGA is averaging 31.3 PPG, third-best in the NBA behind Luka and Embiid
He's the odds-on favorite to win the league's Most Improved Player award at -175
Meanwhile, a healthy Damian Lillard has helped the 17-14 Blazers return to their winning ways. With Lillard and SGA both active and set to start tonight's game, we should be in for an electric shootout. Dame even chimed in on the "Free Shai" narrative that's started to pick up steam 🗣
Damian Lillard on advice for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: "He's in a situation where he's playing free. ... He's got a group of guys that understand he's the leader, he's the guy. ... His career is in a great position. ... I'd say the grass is not always greener on the other side..."

King of the Clutch
This season, the league is set to award the season's greatest clutch performer with his own award for the first time. Named for "Mr. Clutch" himself, the Clutch Player of the Year will earn the Jerry West Award at season's end. Although Lillard has the unimpeachable track record of clutch performances, it's SGA who has been better down the stretch this season 👑

Shai has scored more clutch points (79) than any other player in the league this season, eight more than last year's leader DeMar DeRozan. And if that wasn't enough, Shai's got a couple of game-winners so far, including the buzzer-beater from Monday against the Blazers, spoiling the night Dame became the franchise's all-time leading scorer 🏹

If the NBA were to give out the award today, it'd almost certainly go to SGA. And if the league had given out the award over the past decade, Dame would probably already have won it at least twice (full list of predictions). If tonight's game is close, each team has the firepower to steal a win down the stretch 💔

For My Parlay Gurus
After the kid from Canada took down Portland on Monday night, I think Lillard goes Dame Time to get his revenge. Considering both teams' high-octane backcourts, I've got the two teams hitting the over on the point total too. Take a look 👇
Blazers -4 @ Thunder: -110
