Home Run Leaders

All eyes were on the Masters (Rahm's winning put) and the final day of the NBA regular season yesterday (official bracket), but today we're going to take a quick look at the best power hitters in baseball just ten games into the year. Pete Alonso of the Mets and Aaron Judge of the Yankees are at the top of the Home Run leaderboard πŸ‘‡

Of the HR leaders, Alonso is the only player batting below .300, with Adam Duvall posting an absurd .455 BA to start off the year. Lot of baseball left though, long long long season. Judge crushed two yesterday vs. the Orioles, and the Yankees have now gone yard in each of their first nine games πŸ’£

Judge finished last season's MVP campaign with 62 HRs, but Alonso has proven to be just as lethal with the bat in his first five years with the Mets. His career stats are insane, and this is very underrated πŸ‘€

We obviously still have a long ways to go, but just in case you were interested, take a look at the regular season HR leader odds ⚾️

  • Aaron Judge: +320

  • Pete Alonso: +700

  • Mike Trout: +700

  • Yordan Alvarez: +900

Both the Yankees and the Mets play today, so we're going to ride with a NY parlay. Shane Bieber is on the mound for the Guardians, but I'll take the Yanks with plus runs and the Mets ML with Max Scherzer pitching. Take a look πŸ‘‡

  • Yankees +1.5 @ Guardians: -160

  • Mets ML vs. Padres: -136
