It's Bubble Season
It's finally that time of the year β the unparalleled hysteria of March Madness is right around the corner, so obviously the talk of the town is who is in, and who is out? As of yesterday, these are 16 teams to keep an eye on with less than a week of regular season games left π
Over the last few weeks, we've seen some crazy games featuring a majority of these teams. We're talking about you Arizona State and Michigan π¨

While that was nuts, Arizona State already had a solid tournament resume, while the Wolverines on the other hand were pretty much eliminated if Hunter Dickinson didn't do this π

Both of these squads, plus a few other bubble teams, are in action tonight for another chance to grab a statement win. Take a look at the slate πΊ
Michigan vs. Illinois: 7PM EST
Arizona State vs. No. 4 UCLA: 9PM
No. 5 Purdue vs. Wisconsin: 9PM
Memphis vs. SMU: 9PM
With the Arizona loss, UCLA has now clinched its first regular season title since 2013 - they can thank the Sun Devils for that one. Still, coach Cronin is staying focused with two home games left this season
βItβs nice to have the Pac-12 wrapped up, but as a head coach, you find reasons to be paranoid β¦ a concern for me is our emotional gas tank. Now our guys want to finish strong at home, so thatβs on our side.β

The Bigger Game
Just a few weeks ago, Michigan was pretty firmly out of the tournament discussion. But over the last few days the Wolverines have won at Rutgers, and at home vs. Michigan State and Wisconsin. The Big Ten is weird this season, no real dominant team besides Purdue - just take a look at the conference standings π
The Wolverines have Illinois and Indiana left on their schedule, both on the road. If they can grab one win, they should sneak into the tournament. It's still unclear if potential lottery pick Jett Howard will suit up, but since they've been rolling without him, I'm not sure if Juwan will rush anything
Saddi Washington on Jett Howard status: "I think it's TBD. He's progressing. He's been working really hard through his rehab. He's had a great attitude throughout, and his great support and his brothers in his absence. If and when he gets back, we're gonna be happy to have him."

Either way, look out for Kobe Bufkin, who has been Michigan's best player over the last two months. He's now entered the first-round pick conversation in recent mock drafts, and these numbers are legit π

The odds on this game are way more interesting, as they are awfully slim for a true road game. You nervous Illinois?
Spread: Illinois -3.5
Moneyline: Illinois -178 (bet $178, win $100), Michigan +146 (bet $100, win $146)

For My Parlay Gurus
The Bruins are closing in on history, and will be highly motivated to protect their undefeated home record. I like UCLA to get the job done behind another masterful performance from Jaime Jaquez Jr., plus I'm going with Illinois to spoil Michigan's win streak at home π
UCLA -12.5 vs. Arizona State: -110
Illinois -3.5 vs. Michigan: -120
