Premier League Preview
It's been just over two months since Manchester City officially claimed their second consecutive Premier League crown, and now their quest for a third straight title is set to begin when the 2022-23 season kicks off this weekend ⚽️
The past five years have been absolutely dominated by the Sky Blues, with four EPL championships coming back to Manchester City
Last year's race came down to the wire, as the champs edged Liverpool by a mere point atop the table. Take a full look at last season's standings here
City and Liverpool were head and shoulders above the pack last season — their respective goal differences of +73 and +68 each ranked top-five in league history. This year, oddsmakers are expecting more of the same, with the two powerhouses checking in as the clear-cut top contenders 👇
Odds To Win The Premier League (subject to change)
Man City: -170 (bet $170, win $100)
Liverpool: +230 (bet $100, win $230)
Tottenham: +1600
Chelsea: +1800
Arsenal: +3200
Led by superstar Kevin De Bruyne, one of the most complete players in the world, City was always going to be difficult to knock off, and their prospects got even better with the addition of Erling Haaland
The 22-year-old phenom scored 86 goals in 89 games for Borussia Dortmund, and he's the favorite to lead the Premier League in scoring this season (+250)
Haaland is hardly the only notable name set to suit up in a different kit this year — some others include Kalidou Koulibaly (Chelsea), Christian Eriksen (Man U), Raheem Sterling (Chelsea), Gabriel Jesus (Arsenal) and Darwin Nunez (Liverpool)
Another addition worth mentioning is 18-year-old American goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina, who has officially signed a six-year contract with Chelsea 🔥
Gabriel Slonina has completed a permanent transfer to Chelsea! ✍️
The 18-year-old joins from Chicago Fire where he will return on loan to complete their season before moving to London at the start of 2023.

There will be plenty of highly-anticipated debuts to watch this weekend, as EPL play starts in style with ten matches over the next three days. The season's first stop? Crystal Palace against Arsenal ⬇️

Crystal Palace Vs. Arsenal
It's almost fitting the Premier League season begins with Arsenal, a club that had one of the more disappointing finishes last year
The Gunners were in prime position to secure a coveted spot in the league's top four, and the Champion's League, before dropping two of their final three matches and falling into fifth 😬
Arsenal hasn't qualified for the UCL since 2017, which makes the near-miss all the more painful. They'll have the opportunity to start this year's attempt on the right foot today on the road 👇
Crystal Palace vs. Arsenal Betting Preview (subject to change)
Moneyline: Crystal Palace +340 (bet $100, win $340), Arsenal -125 (bet $125, win $100), Draw +270
Over/Under: 2.5 Total Goals
Even in a tough road environment, Arsenal is still a decent favorite to come out on top in their opener, but it was actually Crystal Palace who emerged victorious the last time the two clubs met 👀
It was a dominant 3-0 win for Crystal Palace when they hosted Arsenal back on April 4th, in a match that surely did no favors to the Gunners' UCL hopes
The defeat is undoubtedly on Arsenal's mind ahead of their return to Selhurst Park, as they look to avoid another stumble
Patrick Vieira said Arsenal will be “completely different” on their return to Selhurst Park after losing 3-0 to Crystal Palace in 2021/22.
🗣 “We can be even more competitive than we were last year. The game tomorrow will be important for us to start as well as we can."

With +43000 odds to win the EPL this year, Palace is understandably an underdog in this one. But as they showed just a few short months ago, they shouldn't be taken lightly 😤

Under 2.5 Goals: -118
