The Leading Receiver In The NFL Is +1000 To Finish The Season With The Most Yards
Since 2010, only three WRs have had more receiving yards through their first four games than Deebo has this year 👇 (3 minute read)
Previous Parlay:
Scherzer over 7.5 Ks: MISS
Dodgers first three innings over 1 run: MISS
Justin Turney to hit a HR: HIT
Deebo’s World
Through four weeks of football, these five receivers currently lead the NFL in receiving yards 🤲
Deebo Samuel: 490
Tyreek Hill: 453
Cooper Kupp: 431
DJ Moore: 398
Davante Adams: 373
No one could have expected Deebo to get off to this type of start. In fact, his preseason over/under for total receiving yards was 875.5. With 13 games left in the season, he’s already more than halfway there…
While he’s clearly flashed potential to be a 1,000-yard WR in his first two seasons, Deebo is on pace to get there in just nine games. His 2021 numbers have been that good, even with average QB play
2019: 53.5 YPG
2020: 55.9 YPG (7 games)
2021: 122.5 YPG
A Historic Start
Since 2010, only three WRs have had more receiving yards through their first four games than Deebo’s 490
Wes Welker, 2011 - 616 yards
Steve Smith, 2011 - 513 yards
Julio Jones, 2018 - 502 yards
Deebo Samuel, 2021 - 490 yards
Despite standing alone atop the receiving yards leaderboard today, he holds just a 37-yard edge over Tyreek Hill and is tied for the fourth-best odds to lead the league at the end of the year
Odds to have the most receiving yards (all odds subject to change)
Tyreek Hill: +600
Davante Adams: +700
Cooper Kupp: +900
DJ Moore: +1000
Deebo Samuel: +1000
Stefon Diggs: +1000
You would think that the leading WR would have better odds than +1000…but with QB play up in the air in San Fransisco (we might see Trey Lance starting this weekend), Deebo just isn’t getting the love that his 122.5 YPG deserves
Instead, Kansas City’s five-time Pro Bowler is the favorite (+600) to lead the league this season. Tyreek averages 75 YPG in his NFL career, an outstanding number that is hard to replicate without Patrick Mahomes as your QB
The Big Sleeper
Everyone loves a good sleeper, and some of the WRs with longer odds might be too tempting to pass on. Take a look at some of the biggest sleepers
Travis Kelce: +1600
Terry McLaurin: +2000
Chris Godwin: +2200
DeAndre Hopkins: +2500
DeAndre Hopkins has the strongest track record, but has a serious hole to climb out of. Through four games he has 225 total yards, third-best on his own team behind A.J. Green and Christian Kirk, hence, the long odds
However, is it time for D-Hop to bring home the receiving crown? He’s come so close in the past, and Arizona’s high-powered offense should give him plenty of chances to catch-up
1,407 yards, 2020: 3rd best
1,165 yards, 2019: 11th best
1,572 yards, 2018: 2nd best
1,378 yards, 2017: 4th best
For My Parlay Gurus
On Sunday, Deebo’s Niners face D-Hop’s Cardinals, pitting the 2-2 Bay squad against the NFL’s only remaining undefeated team
For our parlay of the day we’re going to ride with the WR discussed above 👇
Deebo OVER 62.5 receiving yards: -115
D-Hop OVER 76.5 receiving yards: -115
OVER 50 total points scored: -110
$100 on this three-legged parlay nets you a payout of $567. If this hits I’m snagging this sick PS5 x Balenciaga hat 🧢
