Knicks & Clippers Look For 2-0 Start 👀
Yes I know Boston fans, the Celtics can go up 2-0 tonight also. But I'm focused on the two road teams who stole Game 1s as underdogs. The Knicks and Clippers are back at it tonight, can either of them head back home up 2-0? 🏀 (3 min read)

Important Game 2s
Day four of the NBA playoffs and we’re certainly off to a fun start. Outside of the Nuggets and Celtics easily taking Game 1s vs. the Wolves and Hawks, pretty much every game has been close in the fourth quarter. Sadly, injuries have been relevant, with several key players going down this weekend 👇
Giannis left minutes into Sunday’s game, but should be back in this series. This wasn’t a dirty play by Kevin Love, but the late charge attempt is one of the more dangerous plays
Bucks’ superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo (lower back contusion) will not return to Game 1 of Bucks-Heat, per @ShamsCharania.
Giannis sustained the injury on this collision with Kevin Love in the 1st quarter 🤕

Tyler Herro is done for a while with a broken hand, Paul George won’t play in this series vs. the Suns, Josh Hart is questionable for New York’s Game 2 and Ja Morant’s injury seems like it could be a bad one 😢

These things happen and it sucks when a series is so heavily influenced by health, but it’s the playoffs so next man up. Three games tonight - I personally have very little interest in watching the Hawks vs. Celtics…
Score at half:
Celtics — 74
Hawks — 44Dominant.

The Knicks took Game 1 on the road vs. the Cavs on Saturday, and although it was just a four point win, it was a dominant showing. Jalen Brunson continues to control the entire flow of the game, and Josh Hart was the most important Knick on the court 💪
Stats from Knicks-Cavs Game 1 last night in Cleveland
Josh Hart:
17 points (on 11 FG attempts)
10 rebounds,
2 assistsAll Cavs reserves (Cedi Osman, Caris LeVert, Dean Wade, Ricky Rubio) COMBINED:
14 points (on 13 FG attempts)
5 rebounds
3 assists— Tommy Beer (@TommyBeer)

NYK got 15 combined points from Barrett, Quickly and Grimes and still managed to win with defense and rebounding. Robinson was the best big on the court 👏
17 offensive rebounds and a 42.3% offensive rebounding rate (98th percentile) for the Knicks. Great persistence, timing and understanding of angles. Story of the game.

Outside of Mitchell’s 38 points on 30 shots, no one on the Cavs scored more than Garland’s 17. Cleveland remains the favorite tonight, but the Knicks with the points is tempting 👀
Knicks vs. Cavs Betting Preview (subject to change)
Spread: Cavs -5.5
Moneyline: Cavs -215, Knicks +180
O/U: 214
As for the Clippers vs. Suns, Game 2 should feature a ton of adjustments from Phoenix. Ayton attempted more shots than KD, and only Landry Shamet played more than 7 minutes off the bench. Westbrook, Mann and Batum were fantastic on the defensive end, highlighted by this game winning block by Russ 🗣

Westbrook shot 3/19 from the field, but was a menace on the defensive end, guarding Booker, Durant and CP3. Plus, he knocked down two clutch free throws right before the big block. Russ plays so hard it’s amazing 😤
Russ was a PROBLEM in Game 1 😳

Leonard’s 38 points on 13/24 from the field has gone under the radar, just the way Fun Guy likes it. Again, Phoenix is the favorite and KD will be featured more, but I still like the Clippers with the points 💧
Spread: Suns -7.5
Moneyline: Suns -330, Clippers +265

For My Parlay Gurus
Both the Clippers and Knicks are playing with house money tonight, and it’s pretty much must-win basketball for the Cavs and Suns. I like both series to go to 1-1, but based on Game 1 performances I’ll take both road teams with the points. Take a look 👇
Knicks +5.5 @ Cavs: -110
Clippers +7.5 @ Suns: -110
