Did you see that Yankee game!? Judge hit HR No. 60 to lead off the ninth, then Stanton walked it off with a Grand Slam. Insane 🚨

Pac-12 Stand Up

Earlier this summer, USC and UCLA, two of the most recognizable collegiate programs in both the Pac-12 and across the NCAA, announced that they would be joining the Big Ten in 2024. George Kliavkoff, commissioner of the conference, recently shut down rumors circulating around some of the other marquee names in the conference following suit, like Washington and Oregon 😬

Despite all of the drama surrounding TV deals, new rivalries and recruiting implications, the Pac-12 remains a force to be reckoned with πŸ’ͺ

  • Former Indiana QB Michael Penix Jr. led unranked Washington to a victory against No. 11 Michigan St. (at the time) β€” he finished the game with 397 yards to go along with 4 TDs

  • Byron Murphy recovered a fumble in OT during the Arizona Cardinals' comeback win against the Las Vegas Raiders that looked eerily familiar to his playing days with the Huskies πŸ‘‡

  • Despite getting blown out in their season opener against Georgia, Oregon has righted the ship after securing a 21-point W against No. 12 BYU (at the time)

The Pac-12 now has four teams in the AP's Top 25: No. 7 USC, No. 13 Utah, No. 15 Oregon, and No. 18 Washington. Peep how tight the conference odds are πŸ‘‡

Odds To Win The Pac-12 (subject to change)

  • USC: +135 (bet $100, win $135)

  • Utah: +230

  • Oregon: +500

  • Washington: +550

  • Oregon State & UCLA: +1700

Oregon seems like a dark-horse pick that could come together if everything breaks right. Maybe their showing against UGA can be thrown away? After all, the Dawgs were coming off a National Championship 🐢

Trivia Question: In the last 20 years, how many Heisman winners has USC produced?

Matchups To Watch

Whether it's a future, season O/U wins bet or just random spread you're sweating, the Pac-12 is alive. Here's a look ahead at two of the more interesting matchups in the Pac-12 this weekend πŸ‘‡

πŸ“ No. 15 Oregon @ Washington State

  • For the uninitiated β€” do not sleep on the Cougars! Washington State has played some great football en route to a 3-0 start. In week 2 they took out Wisconsin (ranked No. 19 at the time) and look to be rolling heading into Saturday's game against the Ducks

  • QB Cameron Ward also had an impressive showing against Colorado St. last week, throwing for 292 yards and four TDs

  • This game could potentially be a shootout, with Bo Nix looking sharp helming the Oregon offense

  • Spread: Oregon -6.5

  • Moneyline: Oregon -280 (bet $280, win $100), Washington St. +225 (bet $100, win $225)

  • O/U: 57.5 Total Points

πŸ“ No. 7 USC @ Oregon State

  • Another match-up between two undefeated teams, this one is exciting because USC has yet to be tested this year, cruising to three victories thus far and winning by an average of 27 PPG

  • The Trojans have scored 40 or more points in all three of their Ws β€” they've put up 152 in total, which would be the highest amount since Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart were calling the shots back in 2005

  • Oregon State will have their hands full with an offense as explosive as USC's β€” expect this one to be high-scoring...the oddsmakers share this sentiment

  • Spread: USC -6.5

  • Moneyline: USC -230, Oregon State +188

  • O/U: 70.5 Total Points

For My Parlay Gurus

I think Washington St. could prove to be frisky, so I'm choosing them to cover the spread. USC seems to be having a moment with their offense, and because of that I'm taking the ridiculous over for that matchup. Take a look and check back in closer to Saturday to see how the lines have adjusted πŸ‘‡

  • Washington State. +6.5 vs. Oregon: -105

  • USC vs. Washington State Over 70.5 Total Points: -110

$100 on this bet would win you $273 β€” if we hit, make sure you email [email protected] for a chance to win up to $100*. Many will enter, only some will win πŸ˜‰
