French Open Preview + Free Hoodie 🎾
We're just a few days away from what could be a historic French Open. Nadal and his 14 Roland Garros titles are out, both Djokovic and Alcaraz are both playing for the first time in almost a year, and Novak is hunting that 23rd Major title. This should be fun, plus I'm giving away a hoodie 💧 (2 min read)

Two Man Race
With French Open qualifiers finishing up today, we’re a little over 24 hours away from the official draw of this tennis season’s second Major tournament. The Grand Slam will get started on Sunday, and with 14-time winner Rafael Nadal officially out, it’s pretty much a two-headed race 👇
Carlos Alcaraz: +145
Novak Djokovic: +200
Holger Rune: +1000
Daniil Medvedev: +1100
Stefanos Tsitsipas: +1300
Jannik Sinner: +1600
Nadal’s dominance at Roland Garros is absolutely insane…in the last 18 years, only three other players have won the French Open singles title 🎾
Since 2005 only four men have won the French Open singles title
Roger Federer (1), Stan Wawrinka (1), Novak Djokovic (2) and Rafael Nadal (14)
Only Wawrinka and Djokovic have a chance to keep it that way in 2023

Carlos Alcaraz will get the No. 1 seed in this year’s tournament, and following Medvedev’s win at the recent Italian Open, he’s moved up to No. 2. Djokovic slides in at the No. 3 spot, which means that Novak and Alcaraz could be drawn on the same half of the bracket and meet in the semi-finals. The two best players in the world have never met in a Major, and I think we’d all want their first meeting to be in the finals 👀
British tennis icon Tim Henman has explained why he believes that Carlos Alcaraz can beat Novak Djokovic and win the French Open this year.

In the most recent Grand Slam in Australia, Djokovic knocked off Tsitsipas in straight sets to capture his 22nd Major title. However, Alcaraz didn’t suit up back in January, and the last time he played in a Major, he won the US Open vs. Casper Ruud. The kicker? Djokovic didn’t play in last year’s US Open. You can see where this is going…really need them on opposite sides of the bracket 🤞
Rafael Nadal's 14 titles at the French Open are the most by any player at a major in tennis history, as well as the most by any player at any tour-level event in the Open Era (since 1968).
Nadal's 22 major titles are tied with Novak Djokovic for the most in men's tennis history.

I’m always excited for Majors, but man this one has a chance to be great. Alacarz is in prime form, Djokovic is going for the newest edition of the record, and there’s an abundance of young players who have gone way further than expected in recent tournaments. This should be fun 💪
