Florida State (+5) Hasn’t Beaten Duke In Over Five Years
The Seminoles have historically struggled against the Blue Devils, but they're on a three-game win streak in a wide-open ACC. Can they steal one from Coach K and Paolo Banchero? 🍿 (4 minute read)
Cam Akers tore his achilles less than six months ago, but is back and catching passes from Odell 💪 — let’s talk Duke vs. FSU hoops 👇

Duke @ FSU Preview
For over a decade, Leonard Hamilton has routinely had Florida State positioned as one of the better teams in the ACC. Since 2009, the Seminoles have made the NCAA tournament nine times, have two Sweet 16 appearances, seven active players in the NBA, and regularly find themselves near the top of conference standings
But, despite FSU’s consistent success, the Duke Blue Devils, a villain to many, have been a regular thorn in their side
Duke has won five straight games over FSU and 10 of their last 12, with the Seminoles’ last victory coming in January of 2017
FSU’s win percentage (.204) against Duke is the program's worst against any team it has played 10 or more times
The Seminoles will have the opportunity to get back in the win column against their ACC rivals when they host the Blue Devils tonight — here’s how the lines are looking ahead of the matchup👇
Spread: Duke -5
Moneyline: Duke -200 (bet $200, win $100), FSU +170 (bet $100, win $170)
Over/Under: 144.5

The ACC’s Alpha
With just one team currently ranked in the Top 25 (Duke), it’s safe to say it has been a disappointing year thus far for the ACC. But, if there’s a silver lining, its that the one ranked team has looked good enough to win the whole dang thing
Can Coach K end his legendary career in style? #6 Duke is currently tied with Purdue for the second-best odds to win the national championship (+800)
Durham’s latest freshman sensation is a big reason why the Duke hype train is picking up steam; Paolo Banchero has the fourth-best odds to bring home the Wooden Award (+1000)
A likely lottery pick in the next NBA Draft, Banchero has also dropped over 20 points in three straight games
The All-American candidate is firing on all cylinders, but so is an FSU team many had high expectations for entering the season
The Seminoles were picked to finish second in the ACC preseason poll right behind Duke, and they began the year ranked #20
After an up-and-down first half of the season, FSU has won its last three in a row vs. Louisville/Miami/Syracuse, giving them the conference’s longest active win streak
It will be Coach K’s last game at the Tucker Center, and he’s no doubt itching to nab one final victory at each ACC venue. But with FSU having dropped just two games at home over the past two seasons, you know it won’t come without a fight 😤
Trivia question: Coach K and Duke’s most recent national title came in 2015 over Wisconsin — who was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player for the Blue Devils? (answer below)

Battles In The Big 12
Rarely is there a Tuesday night during college basketball season that’s not loaded with action, and tonight is no different. Outside of the hype matchup in Tallahassee is a pair of Big 12 showdowns worth checking out👇
🐻 #5 Baylor @ West Virginia (5PM ET)
Spread: Baylor -6.5
Moneyline: Baylor -240, West Virginia +195
Over/Under: 137.5
A week ago Baylor was one of two remaining undefeated teams in the country, and now they have two losses on their record. After scoring 79 PPG through their first three games of conference play, the Bears managed just 63 PPG over the two-game skid
🌪 #15 Iowa State @ #18 Texas Tech (9PM ET)
Spread: Texas Tech -7.5
Moneyline: Iowa State +235, Texas Tech -300
Over/Under: 125.5
Texas Tech’s three-game win streak that featured victories over #6 Kansas and #1 Baylor came to an end Saturday with a disappointing loss to Kansas State
Iowa State is 2-3 over their past five games, but both victories were over ranked opponents. They defeated the Red Raiders, 51-47, when these two teams met for the first time back on 1/5

For My Parlay Gurus
Sorry Noles fans, but I don’t think the losing streak against Duke ends tonight. I’m going with the Blue Devils and the Cyclones in this parlay 👇
Duke -5 @ FSU: -110
Iowa State +7.5 @ Texas Tech: -110
$100 on this bet would win you $264 — if we hit, make sure to email [email protected] for $100**. First come, first serve 😉
Trivia answer: Consensus first-team All-American and future third-overall pick Jahlil Okafor may have stolen most of the headlines for Duke in their title-winning season, but it was actually fellow freshman Tyus Jones who was named the tournament’s MOP. He was also a first-round selection that year, going 24th overall to the T-Wolves
