College Football Week 3 Preview

After two weeks of College Football, playoff odds remain the same for many of the powerhouse teams. Welcome Oregon and Iowa, both who grabbed wins vs Top 10 teams last week and are earning Vegas’ respect

  • Alabama: -700 (bet $700, win $100)

  • Georgia: -210

  • Oklahoma: -210

  • Clemson: -145

  • Ohio State: -140

  • Oregon: +300

  • Iowa: +650

  • Penn State: +700

Week 3 is primed with some interesting matchups, as several ranked teams will take on dangerous unranked squads

  • #19 Arizona State (-3.5) @ #23 BYU

  • Purdue @ #12 Notre Dame (-7.5)

  • Michigan St. @ #24 Miami (-6)

  • #15 Virginia Tech @ West Virginia (-2.5)

  • #8 Cincinnati (-3.5) @ Indiana

However, all eyes will be on two games, both with big playoff ramifications for the Big Ten and SEC conferences

#1 Alabama (-14.5) @ #11 Florida (Total: 60.5)

  • Alabama heads to Florida on a 16-game winning streak

  • Florida has looked sharp this season, outscoring their opponents 77-34 in two games

#22 Auburn (+5) @ #10 Penn State (Total: 53)

  • In Auburn’s last 22 games as the underdog, the Under has hit in 17 of them

  • Another low scoring affair could make it 18 out of 23

NFL Week 2 Preview

Sunday features an equally loaded schedule, as a handful of crucial matchups are set to get underway

  • Bills (-3.5) @ Dolphins

  • Titans @ Seahawks (-3.5)

  • Rams (-4) @ Colts

  • 49ers (2.5) @ Eagles

  • Cowboys @ Chargers (-2.5)

  • Chiefs (-2.5) @ Ravens

After Week 1, a few player prop odds on both sides of the ball were updated based on performances. Trevor Lawrence threw three INTs vs the Texans, the most of any QBs

While most expect the No. 1 pick to figure it out, check out the odds for him to lead the league in INTs. What do you think?

  • No: -900

  • Yes: +500

On the defensive side of the ball, Chandler Jones had a monstrous game last week, totaling has five sacks and two forced fumbles. Michael Strahan holds the single season regular of most sacks in a season with 22.5

Jones is obviously on pace to break that, and people forget that he had 19 in the last full season he played. Can he get to 23 sacks?

  • Yes (23 or more sacks): +1000

  • No (less than 23 sacks): -5000

Interesting Lines Of The Week

  • 49ers vs Eagles: 1pm EST

Philly will host the 49ers at 1pm EST, with an O/U set to 49.5. The Under is 12-3 in the Eagles’ last 15 matchups due to some inept offensive performances, or lock-down defensive outings like last week’s 32-6 win vs Atlanta

Counting on one of these two performances from the Eagles might lead to a successful Under bet

  • Bills vs Dolphins: 1pm EST

The Bills have won five straight games against their division rival Dolphins, and look to make it six on Sunday. Josh Allen hopes for better protection after being hit 11 times, including three sacks against the Steelers last weekend

At -183, Bills money-line seems like a smart bet, as few expect Buffalo to start the season 0-2. For the Super Bowl-hopeful Bills, a win over the ‘Fins would be a massive step in the right direction
