⚽️ Groups C & D Still Up For Grabs
As the group stage winds down and we move closer to single game elimination bracket play, there are still plenty of teams with their eyes on a trip to the Round of 16. Only six teams have punched their ticket into the next round, and both Group C and D are up for grabs with for four games taking place today. Should be interesting 🤔 (2 min read)
Staying Alive
The group stages are coming to a close in this year’s Euro cup, with positions in the Round of 16 still up for grabs. Portugal, England, Switzerland, Spain, Germany and Italy are the only teams to have locked up a spot next round, but seeding for Groups C and D are still wide open. We have you covered with a breakdown of the second-to-last day of the grouping round, but first let’s check out a 98th minute goal from yesterday’s game that sent Italy through and knocked out Croatia 👇

📍 Group D, 12PM EST
Coming into the tournament, Group D boasted some of the best talent in the tournament with France and the Netherlands as legitimate threats to make deep runs, but Austria too has also been very impressive 🇦🇹
Everything is still up for grabs as the three teams mentioned are all gridlocked at the top of the bracket. France and the Netherlands are tied at four points apiece, while Austria is right behind them with three
Austria can still reach the Round of 16 with a win against the Netherlands, while France would nab the top finish in the group with a win against Poland

France will most likely handle Poland, and Mbappe is reportedly targeting a return to the starting line-up. Meanwhile, Austria will play the Netherlands, at the same time, which is definitely the match-up to watch. Here’s how the lines are shaping up 🤌
Netherlands ML: +110; Austria ML: +290; Tie: +210

Awesome to be there for that one!

📍 Group C, 3PM EST
It can never be easy for England can it? What started out as a bracket tilted towards the Three Lions has developed into a situation where the team has yet to put together a truly decisive performance from start to finish. Even though they will be moving forward regardless, you can’t help but be a little worried heading into single-game elimination bracket play 👀
Even though this group is still up for grabs, it’s a little less interesting than Group D. Serbia has been disappointing, Denmark is good but inconsistent, and Slovenia has proved to be tough but lacking in top-end talent — England is the only team with a win so far
Barring something miraculous, England should win against Slovenia, but Denmark and Serbia seem destined for a tie. At that point the second-place finish in the group will come down to goal differential
Still, a Slovenia win would propel them into the round of 16, while an outright win from Denmark or Serbia would shake up the seeding
Croatia has 0.00000000001% chance to go through as third placed team.
For that to happen, England has to beat Slovenia by three or more goals, Denmark has to beat Serbia, and Portugal and Turkey have to win their games in the group. 🚨

Trivia Question: Two games through the Group stage, who leads the EUROS in goals scored?
For My Parlay Gurus
I’m keeping it simple for this parlay and going straight chalk plus a tie. If either France or England loses there could be full scale riots, so needless to say an upset would be shocking. Give me both teams to win outright. Check out my parlay 👇
