Does TCU Have A Chance? 🐸
After an all-time semifinal round, college football will crown a champion tonight in what many consider to be a lopsided final matchup. TCU showed they have the talent to hang with the big boys vs. Michigan, but do the Bulldogs present an entirely different beast? 🏆 (4 min read)

A Playoff to Remember
A truly memorable College Football Playoff will conclude tonight, in a National Championship matchup that no one could have predicted. Everyone expected Georgia to be here, as the Bulldogs have asserted themselves as the most dominant program in college football. It's their opponent who has shocked the world — can TCU's remarkable Cinderella season culminate in one of the most improbable championships in CFB history? 🍿
The Horned Frogs weren't even ranked in the Top-25 entering this season, but they've made it clear that they belong on this stage
TCU's offense looked electric in a thrilling 51-45 win over Michigan in the semifinals
QB Max Duggan was far from perfect, but he stepped up to make the game-defining plays and finished with four total TDs 💪
Georgia's defeat of Ohio State was equally exhilarating, as the Bulldogs became the first team to overcome a 14-point fourth quarter deficit in College Football Playoff history. A Georgia defense that had appeared impenetrable all season long struggled to contain the electric CJ Stroud, but in the end Stetson Bennett and co. made just enough plays to get it done. They also benefitted from some last second luck 👇

David vs Goliath
Many perceived Georgia's luck to go far beyond that shanked game-winning kick attempt, as Michigan appeared to pose a far scarier opponent than TCU. Vegas certainly seems to agree with that notion, given the monster 13.5 point spread. However, the Horned Frogs have to be enjoying their underdog status at this point...no one expected them to have much of chance vs. Michigan, and after all, they hung a 50-piece on the vaunted Wolverines defense 🔥
Furthering the underdog narrative is their rookie head coach Sonny Dykes — no first year coach has even appeared in a CFB championship game before, let alone won
Dykes and Duggan have taken this program to heights few would have thought possible, but this matchup presents by far their biggest test yet
TCU will need to ride Duggan all the way to the finish line, as well as Emari Demercado and the explosive run game that dominated Michigan in order to keep the magic going 🪄
TCU!! Emari Demercado 69 yard run, next play Max Duggan gets in for the 1 yard TD!! 🔥 #FiestaBowl

For the Bulldogs, this game represents the opportunity to assert themselves as the undisputed top dog in college football. Nick Saban's Alabama program still holds a rarified air in CFB circles, but two straight titles for Georgia would put them on track to achieve the same type of long-term success. Head coach Kirby Smart served as Saban's assistant in Tuscaloosa, and is now on the precipice of launching his own dynasty in Athens 🏆
Georgia's brightest star is defensive tackle Jalen Carter, who many believe to be the top prospect in this year's draft. Carter anchors a supremely talented defense that will be looking to rebound from a tough showing vs. Ohio State
On the offensive end, Bennett lacks in explosive high end talent, but compensates with steady leadership and the type of calmness under pressure that helped the Bulldogs sneak by in the semifinal ❄️

Who wins? |
Trivia Question: Who was the last team to win back-to-back CFB championships?

For My Parlay Gurus
TCU winning this game would rank among the greatest upsets in football history, but I really think the Horned Frogs have the tools to make it happen. The much-hyped Georgia D looked human vs. OSU, and TCU is more than capable of exploiting any defensive holes. I'm betting on a game much closer than the spread indicates, giving Duggan and co. the opportunity to catapult themselves into the annals of CFB history 👀
TCU +13.5 vs. Georgia: -115
Over 63.5 Total Points: -105
$100 on this bet would win you $265 — if we hit, make sure you email [email protected] for a chance to win up to $100*. Many will enter, only some will win 😉

Trivia Answer: The last team to go back-to-back was (you guessed it) the Alabama Crimson Tide in 2011 and 2012 🏆
