The Under Is A Combined 9-1 In Seattle And Washington's Last Five Games

The Washington Football Team will look to extend their 2-game win streak against a struggling 3-7 Seahawks squad on MNF. Don't expect a shootout 🏈 (4 minute read)

Juwan Howard and Jim Harbaugh shared an awesome moment on the field after Michigan’s win over Ohio State ⚡️. Let’s talk MNF 👇

Monday Night Football Preview

Washington has not won a Monday night home game since 2012, back when Robert Griffin III was the team’s quarterback. However, they’ll have a chance to change that when they face the slumping Seahawks tonight in DC

Seattle is off to their worst 10-game record under coach Pete Carroll, and they’re looking to avoid their first three-game losing streak with Russell Wilson as the starting QB. On the other hand, Washington has won two games in a row to put themselves in a good position to compete for a playoff spot

  • Spread: Seahawks -1

  • Moneyline: Seahawks -115 (bet $115, win $100), Washington -110

  • Over/Under: 46.5

Lacking Points

Seattle and Washington are averaging a combined 40.6 PPG this season — that’s almost six points less than tonight’s over/under mark. In addition, these betting trends all point towards the UNDER 👇

  • The under is 8-0 in the Seahawks’ last 8 games

  • The under is 4-1 in Washington’s last 5 games

  • 65% of money has been placed on the under

Seattle and the under: They’ve scored just 13 total points over the last two games. Even though this looks like a great opportunity for Wilson to torch a vulnerable WFT secondary, he’s been inconsistent since his return from injury. Wilson has been held without a TD pass for two straight weeks, something that hasn’t happened since 2016

Washington and the under: Their offense has looked solid, as they’ve been controlling the clock with their running game. They carried the ball 34 times in a win over Tampa Bay in Week 10, and 40 times in a win over Carolina in Week 11

Trivia question: who has the most rushing yards in Washington Football history? Hint: it’s not who you think it is (answer below)

Due to Wilson’s unpredictable play since his injury and Washington’s successful clock management game plan, I’m riding with the under tonight

Baby Russell Wilson?

Taylor Heinicke has been a silent assassin this season, leading Washington to wins over three former MVP quarterbacks in Tom Brady, Cam Newton, and Matt Ryan. Washington’s running back, J.D. McKissic, even called Heinicke “Baby Russell Wilson” earlier this season. Heinicke has a long way to go, but he’s been appreciative of the comparisons to Wilson

I’ll take that all day. That’s a quarterback I’ve tried to emulate for a while now…He kind of paved the way for short, mobile quarterbacks, so I’m excited to watch him play on Monday, and hopefully, he doesn’t play too well.

Heinicke will get an opportunity to face Wilson in primetime tonight — let’s take a look at his passing yards prop bet 👇

  • Over 240.5: -120

  • Under 240.5: -110

Heinicke has been impressive through the air, throwing for 2,390 yards (16th in NFL) and 15 TDs (T-13th in NFL). He’s thrown for over 240+ yards in six games this season, including his best passing performance in a win over the Giants in Week 2 (336 yards). With Seattle’s defense allowing the third-most passing yards per game (279.6), I’m taking the over for Heinicke 🤞

For My Parlay Gurus

When asked what’s next on his list of childhood goals, Heinicke said “Beat Russell Wilson.” With the Seahawks on a downward spiral, losing five of their last six games, I believe Heinicke will have a chance to accomplish that goal. However, our parlay tonight is centered around points and Heinicke’s arm

  • Seahawks vs Washington under 46.5 pts: -110

  • Taylor Heinicke over 240.5 passing yards: -120

Throwing down $100 on this parlay would result in a $250 payout, that’s enough to snag yourself a Heinicke jersey and jump on the bandwagon. If this hits, make sure to email [email protected] for $100. First come, first serve 😉

Trivia answer: John Riggins, who played from 1976-1985, has the most rushing yards in Washington history with 7,472. Clinton Portis is second with 6,824
