International College Football
College Football kicks off this weekend, and while none of the nation's ranked team are in action, there's certainly some big storylines to touch on ๐ฎ๐ช
For the first time in six years, College Football will have an international game, when Nebraska takes on Northwestern in Dublin, Ireland on Saturday
Back in 2016, Dublin hosted the California vs. Hawai'i Week 0 game, in which now Giants' backup QB Davis Webb threw for 441 yards and 4 TDs en route to Cal's 51-31 win
Ireland has a five-game deal with the NCAA, dubbed the Aer Lingus College Football Classic. Notre Dame was set to take on Navy in the first one back in 2020, but it was ultimately called off due to the pandemic. Last year's Nebraska vs. Illinois game was moved to Champaign for the same reason
But this year we're good to go, and both teams are certainly fired up to bring their talents to Ireland. Peep the helmets Northwestern is rolling out ๐ฅ

Betting on soccer games is pretty big in Europe, so I imagine they'll be some money thrown around on this Big Ten showdown. Take a look at how the lines are shaping up ๐

Other Programs To Watch
There's only a few Power-5 teams in action this weekend, but we're in such dire need of football that I don't think anyone really cares. Florida State, UNC, Vanderbilt and Illinois are all playing on Saturday, so let's take a look at where Vegas has them pegged for the season ๐
๐ Wyoming @ Illinois
Illinois hasn't won more than seven games since 2011, but second year coach Bret Bielema brought them from two wins to five in his first season with the program. Vegas has their win O/U set at 4.5, and they should get one of them off the board as 11-point home favorites this weekend
๐ Duquesne @ Florida State
Ever since Jimbo Fisher left for Texas A&M back in 2017, FSU has had three different coaches and zero winning seasons. With a win O/U set at 6.5, it seems more mediocrity is in store for third year coach Mike Norvell. Seminole fans must really miss these days ๐ค

๐ Florida A&M @ UNC
Out with Sam Howell, who was picked in the fifth round by the Washington Commanders, in with Drake Maye. Coach Mack Brown is going with the 6'5" 220-pound freshman, who might quietly make some noise in an underrated ACC conference that has five ranked teams (No. 4 Clemson, No. 13 NC State, No. 16 Miami, No. 17 Pittsburgh & No. 22 Wake Forest). Oh, and his older brother is 2017 NCAAM National Champion Luke Maye
๐ Vanderbilt @ Hawai'i
Vandy has five wins in the last three seasons, yet they are 8.5-point favorites in Hawai'i? Yes, most of their losses come from SEC teams, but if they are going to hit the over on their 2.5 win line, they need this one...

While the Commodores might sneak out a win, I like Hawai'i with the points solely based off of this stat. I'll say it again, five wins, three seasons ๐ถ

For My Parlay Gurus
Honestly I'm pretty pumped to watch this Big Ten Dublin game, and while the spread is big, I'm still going to ride with the Cornhuskers. I'll also be taking a few home teams this weekend with the points, which seems like a safe move in Week 0. Here's what I'm riding with, take a look ๐
Nebraska -13.5 vs. Northwestern: -110
Illinois -11.5 vs. Wyoming: -110
Hawai'i +8.5 vs. Vanderbilt: -110
