Bucks vs. Bulls Preview
Despite all the championship banners hanging in the rafters (six to be exact, tied for third-most all-time) the past few Aprils at the United Center have been awfully quiet
But after missing the postseason in each of the last four seasons, the second longest drought in franchise history, playoff basketball is finally back in Chi-town 🙌
The Bulls return home after shocking the Bucks and oddsmakers alike with a crucial victory in Milwaukee on Wednesday night, evening the series at a game apiece. Here’s how the lines are shaping up for Game 3 tonight 👇
Bucks vs. Bulls Betting Preview (subject to change)
Spread: Bucks -2.5
Moneyline: Bucks -138 (bet $138, win $100), Bulls +118 (bet $100, win $118)
Over/Under: 222.5
Trivia Question: Trailing only the Celtics and Lakers, who each have 17 titles apiece, which NBA franchise matches the Bulls' six championships? (answer below)

Storylines To Watch
After a rough series opener that saw him hit just six of his 25 shot attempts, Demar DeRozan assured Chicago fans they wouldn’t see a performance like that again. So far, so good 🗣
The All-NBA candidate bounced back in a huge way in Game 2 with 41 points, a new playoff high for him, matching Jalen Brunson for the second-highest scoring game this postseason
Trust me, you’re gonna wanna check out this finish in crunch-time. Daggers don’t get much tougher than that 😤
The victory was a massive one for the Bulls, who entered the game a 10-point underdog. But in fairness to oddsmakers, you can’t say the pessimism was unwarranted
Not only did Chicago lose 15 of their final 22 regular-season games, but they were also just 2-21 against the top four seeds in each conference this year
Additionally, Wednesday’s win over the Bucks was just their second across their last 19 meetings 😬
Despite that precedent, all of a sudden momentum has seemingly swung to the Bulls’ side, especially with key injuries beginning to strike the Bucks
Fortunately for Milwaukee, Bobby Portis is set to return from the eye injury that forced him out of Game 2, but the bigger blow is the loss of All-Star Khris Middleton for the rest of the series due to an MCL sprain 😔
The impact of Middleton’s absence is huge, but I wouldn't call it a nail in the coffin to the Bucks’ repeat chances just yet. After all, they still have a guy by the name of Giannis Antetokounmpo, who just put up a casual 33/17/9 line. Regardless of tonight’s outcome, expect another massive performance from the Greek Freak 🇬🇷

Looking Elsewhere
The toughest part of the NBA Playoffs? Wanting to watch all of it 😫. Chicago-Milwaukee may be my game of the night, but that doesn’t mean there’s not can’t-miss action going down elsewhere. Check out tonight’s other matchups 👇
📍 Heat vs. Hawks (Heat lead 2-0)
Spread: Heat -1.5
Moneyline: Heat -118, Hawks +100
Over/Under: 221.5
So far, it doesn’t look like the Hawks have another surprising run to the conference finals in them. The Heat didn’t trail in the second half of either of their convincing double-digit victories
When healthy this year, Jimmy Butler has been a force, and Tuesday night he was historically good. His 45 points are the most scored in a game this postseason 🔥
📍 Suns vs. Pelicans (Series tied 1-1)
Spread: Suns -1.5
Moneyline: Suns -120, Pelicans +102
Over/Under: 216
Just like Bucks-Bulls, Game 2 of this series dramatically shifted the momentum, and injuries are a big reason why. The loss of Devin Booker for the rest of the series is a massive blow to the West’s top team
The Pelicans don’t look like a team that finished 10 games below .500, especially if Brandom Ingram is putting up 37/11/9. The Suns may have a much bigger battle on their hands than they imagined 😳

For My Parlay Gurus
As much as Khris Middleton and Devin Booker will be missed, the Suns and Bucks are still phenomenal basketball teams, even without the two All-Stars. I'm going with both shorthanded squads to emerge victorious on the road tonight, check it out 👇
Bucks -2.5 vs. Bulls: -110
Suns -1.5 vs. Pelicans: -110
