UEFA Champions League Quarter-Finals Preview
After months of competition, the Champions League has whittled down the field to just eight teams. The quarter-finals started yesterday, with both Premier League clubs in action winning the first leg of their matches 👇
Liverpool beat Benefica, 3-1, in Lisbon
Man City beat Atletico Madrid, 1-0, in Manchester
Today at 3PM ET, the remaining four clubs will play the first leg of their own quarter-final matchups, with another EPL squad in Chelsea taking on the Spanish powerhouse, Real Madrid, and a second Spanish club, Villarreal, hosting Germany's best in Bayern Munich 📺

Chelsea vs. Real Madrid Preview
Last year, Chelsea took down Real Madrid in the Champions League Semis, before going on to win it all vs. English rival Manchester City 🏴
In the past decade, only Real Madrid (7) has won more European trophies than Chelsea (4)
But, considering what happened in last year's UCL, Chelsea is getting some love as the slight favorite at home, despite Madrid's 5-0-1 Champions League record
Still, Chelsea's status as the reigning champs isn't quite as rock solid as it was a few weeks ago, as they are coming off of a terrible 4-1 loss to the 14th place Premier League team, Brentford
Alternatively, Madrid's on the upswing, having just upset PSG in the previous knockout round, capped off by Karim Benzema's crazy 2nd-half hat trick 🎩
After entering the second leg of their previous matchup down a goal on aggregate, Real Madrid was able to finish off the star-studded PSG squad as the clock was winding down, with goals from Benzema in the 61st, 76th, and 78th minutes
That trio of scores vaulted Benzema into third place in the running for the Golden Boot, the award handed to the tourney's top scorer
However, they'll enter today's contest without their head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, who tested positive for Covid-19 last week. Check out the odds here 👇
Chelsea vs. Real Madrid Odds (subject to change)
Chelsea to win: +110 (bet $100, win $110)
Draw: +240
Real Madrid to win: +265

Villarreal vs. Bayern Munich Preview
Due to their Champions League dominance, going 6-0 so far,Bayern enters this matchup as the rare heavy road favorite. They've also got the tourney's top scorer in Robert Lewandowski, whose dozen goals is just one more than Ajax's second place Sébastien Haller, and four more than Benzema 🔥
While Bayern's 21-3-4 atop the Bundesliga table, Villarreal is just 12-9-9 and seventh in the La Liga standings and has struggled as of late, recently losing to second-to-last place (19th) Levante
However, that didn't stop them from toppling Juventus in the Champions League's Round of 16. Granted Juve has taken a step back since losing Cristiano Ronaldo at the start of this season
Still, Bayern will have to soldier on without three starters, including Alphonso Davies, Joshua Kimmich, and Corentin Tolisso. And that's on top of Lewandowski shaking off a rib injury that had been ailing him 🤕
Here's how Vegas expects Villarreal to handle the burdensome challenge of the semi-shorthanded Bayern, even with the match taking place in Spain 👇
Villarreal vs. Bayern Munich Odds (subject to change)
Villarreal to win: +500
