The Best NHL Season EVER 🏆
With the NHL season coming to a close, let's give a quick shoutout to the Boston Bruins, who broke the record for the most regular season points ever. They are the clear Stanley Cup favorites heading into the postseason, but let's not forget what Connor McDavid is doing as well 🏒 (2 min read)

Bruins Make History
The Boston Bruins have won 64 games and will finish the season with the most points all-time in a single season . The record was previously held by the 1995-96 Detroit Red Wings, and was almost broken by the Lightning back in 2018-19 when they finished with 62 wins and 128 points 🏒
A RECORD YEAR ROLLS ON.

Boston has been a consistent playoff team since 2001, making the postseason in 17 of the past 21 seasons. However, all those important games have only translated to one Stanley Cup victory (2011) in the same time period that the Penguins, Lightning and Blackhawks all won three 🏆
The Bruins won the Eastern Conference in 2013 and 2019, but haven’t made it past the second round since then
Given this historic regular season, expectations are obviously as high as ever. Vegas has them as a clear favorite with the playoffs kicking off on Monday
Boston Bruins: +370
Colorado Avalanche: +700
Toronto Maple Leafs: +900
Edmonton Oilers: +1000
New Jersey Devils: +1100
New York Rangers: +1200
26-year-old David Pastrnak is the Bruins’ engine, and recently became the second player in franchise history with 60 goals and 50 assists in a single season 👀
👏 DAVID PASTRNAK 👏
The third @Enterprise hat trick of the season for David Pastrnak (@pastrnak96) gets him to the 60-goal plateau for the first time in his career!

Edmonton’s Connor McDavid, the best player in the NHL, was the only other player to put up these type of numbers this season. Not bad company for Pastrnak 💪

McDavid is in another world though - his 152 points is by far the most in the league, good for 15th all-time and the highest total in almost three decades. He’s now led the NHL in total points three years in a row and is only 26-years-old with two MVPs…
63rd goal and 150th point for Connor McDavid. 👏

The Eastern Conference is loaded this season, and it might actually be harder for the Bruins to get out of it than it will be for the Oilers out West. Fingers crossed - a McDavid vs. Pastrnak Stanley Cup meeting would be one of the most entertaining outcomes 🍿
Trivia Question: Which team has won the most Stanley Cups in NHL history?

For My Parlay Gurus
Most teams play their last game of the regular season tonight, and the Bruins have a chance to get up to 136 points, just adding to their historic season. There’s obviously a chance they pack it in, but they’re heavily favored so I feel like it’s the right pick. Throwing in the Rangers as well, take a look 👇
