Our very own Overtime Day and Overtime Tom will be hosting the pregame show on Twitter at 6PM EST, check us out then we'd really appreciate the support 💕
Back to the game...the Chargers have served as the Chiefs' little brother for a few years now (as has most of the league), but they bolstered an already formidable roster this offseason and can match up with KC talent-wise. They also have their own stud QB in Justin Herbert to counter Patrick Mahomes, the league's best signal caller. Peep the TNF lines 👇

Division Of Death
The AFC West looks like one of the best divisions in recent memory, boasting four potential playoff teams. Only a week into the season, the standings match the view of most experts, with these two teams sitting a notch above the Broncos and Raiders. Both at 1-0, the Chiefs and Chargers will be battling for an early division lead — but there's a lot more at stake in this matchup 🔥
Despite trading star WR Tyreek Hill to Miami this offseason, the Chiefs are the pretty clear favorite in the AFC West (+135)
They have, after all, won the division six years running, and reached two Super Bowls in that span
The duo of Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid is undoubtedly the league's premiere QB-coach combo

On the other side, the Chargers have all of the Chiefs' talent, and none of their pedigree. LA's (and previously San Diego's) franchise history has been anything but a happy one, as they've developed a reputation for losing in heartbreaking fashion. However, there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel for the Chargers 👇
Justin Herbert is perhaps the most tantalizing young QB out there, and shows the same flashes of otherworldly skill often reserved for Mahomes
the fact Justin Herbert doesn't even put arc on this throw and puts it on the money is comical

Herbert has strong weapons like Keenan Allen (out for this game) and Austin Ekeler, plus and already stacked defense that added Khalil Mack and J.C. Jackson
Will the addition of these stars finally pull the Chargers ahead of KC's well-oiled machine? We'll find out tonight on Amazon Prime 📺
Trivia Question: Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert had the two best passer ratings in the league in Week 1 — who was No. 3?
